The Chain is the bond that keeps the relationship going and never-ending. It can also be seen as the chain that keeps the band together; linking you together in ways that don’t allow you to truly part ways. Break the trauma bond, in bad relationships. Create a list of pro and cons of the relationship. Pray. ⛓️🔥⛓️🙏🙌🏼 The song, The Chain by Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks comes to mind.🎶🎹

To truly appreciate the genius of Fleetwood Mac as it consisted of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie *(nee, Perfect),* Lindsey Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks, which is who the overwhelming majority of listeners think of as the members of Fleetwood Mac; you must take the time to go back and listen to recordings of Fleetwood Mac from its earliest days up until New Years Eve day, 1974, when Buckingham and Nicks officially performed live for the first time. The original band consisted of..... *Peter Green ~ Lead guitar, vocals, songwriter* *Mick Fleetwood ~ Drums, songwriter* *Jeremy Spencer ~ Slide guitar, vocals* *Bob Bruning ~ Bass* *John McVie ~ bass ~* replaced Bob Bruning soon after band's first live concert *Danny Kirwan ~ Lead guitar, vocals, songwriter* ~ joined the band in 1968 as Fleetwood Mac moved away from Blues Rock to Rock 'n Roll and a 4-piece to a 5-piece band *Christine Perfect (married name McVie) ~ Keyboards; lead, backing, and harmonizing vocals; occasional percussion; songwriter; arranger; producer ~* joined the band in 1970 *Bob Welch ~ Guitar, vocals* *Bob Westin ~ Guitar, vocals* *Dave Walker ~ Harmonica, vocals* Fleetwood Mac morphed a lot, musically and personnel wise, between 1968 and late-1974 when Buckingham and Nicks joined the band. They had been in an artistic and economic decline for quite a few years prior to the arrival of Buckingham and Nicks. *Stevie Nicks ~ Lead, backing, and harmonizing vocals; tambourine, occasional keyboards* *Lindsey Buckingham ~ Lead guitar; lead, backing, and harmonizing vocals; keyboards; occasional bass; occasional drums and percussion; songwriter; arranger; producer*

to this song , with the flood of memories it evoked...including memories of feelings , I realised something incredible - I don't FEEL as intensely as I used to. My emotions do not run as raw , as intense , as powerful , as deep or even overwhelming as they once did. They are not overwhelming, at all , anymore. Am I , therefore , asleep , in sone way ? Or is this a good thing ? Well , I still feel happiness , gratitude , joy , amusement , as intensely as Ivused to. I just don't feel sadness , anger , as intensely. Like despondency - I don't vfeel that , these days. Or being ripped apart by grief , I don't feel that these days. Never feel as angry as I became at one stage of my life... Huh. Emotional equilibrium.
