The professionals, had all the good stuff. Lately I have been focused on Adams, Griots Garage and others. Now, I think I need to reassess what Turtle Wax has been doing. I've been Detailing for about 38 years and have the shoulder injuries and back issues that's inherently common for what we do. One way I've helped save my back is to limit bending so much.. I do this by putting my wash bucket and hose on my rolling cart and roll it with me as l get around the car. Just a tip l hope will help you especially when you're doing your 10 wash tests.. Thanks again for what you do for our industry my friend!

I just got a new daily driver and thought I'd give Flex a shot after watching yours and Pan's videos. I applied it today. Very nice shine. I hope it protects like the videos show. 1 - Follow the directions to the letter. 2 - Have plenty of fresh microfiber towels. Flip them and replace them frequently. I applied it with a microfiber applicator in the shade. When I was done, I parked it in the sun for 45 minutes, then move it back to the shade. After it cooled I applied a second coat. I coated everything except the windshield. Put it back in the sun for a final walk around and wipe down.

Turtle Wax is coming out with their boxing gloves on ready for a fight with all those other companies out there. The amount of products available for detailing these days is staggering. There are literally HUNDREDS if not thousands of products now available and more and more keep coming out. Turtle Wax is developing some incredible products to stay up with today's technology and what detailing professionals and weekend warriors/driveway detailers want. I have to give credit to Turtle Wax. They listen. They watch. They gather their information and thoughts about what a product needs and what detailers have told them they want in a product . Then their chemist's invent new ways to infuse the latest and greatest into their products. They have always been a mass market producers of decent products for home detailing and have been around for MANY years. I can remember when I first got interested in detailing my vehicle when I was about 16 years old. I used the good ole' can of Turtle Wax for years and got good results. Nice silver Disco. I offer Turtle Wax spray coating application in addition to my normal services. It's proved very popular, very tough, and I enjoy using them. One-and-Done is a very easy polish to use. It does the same thing as Sonax Perfect Finish, but it smells far better.

So basically for the 10-15 dollar difference in price from ss to flex all you get extra is a bit of more gloss and easier maintenance? From what I saw they both seem to be just as durable

Depending on the price.. I will stick with sns. The gloss meter is stupid crazy for flex though

Flex Wax is 26 Bucks 😳. Probably going to be at least £20 in the UK. CP4L are currently selling the Turtle Wax Hybrid Sealant for £5.30 for 500ml. Which is called Seal n Shine in the USA. Every person in here probably already knew that. Will I buy Flex Wax... Nope!

Is there any difference in using the paste wax vs liquid version as a base? is one or the other stronger? Thx again Brain. You always provide us with so much useful info

The liquid wax is a better foundation. Then maintain with Flex.

guess I will use up my seal n shine as the base, and use the flex wax as a topper. best of both worlds. Brian these TW tests will wear you out. thanks again. Btw i have put seal n shine on our pvc/plastic white railings. the rain just washes the dust off. plus it gives the railings some luster. I'm going to try it on a granite counter top. what heck I'll S n S the whole house.

I think the big take away is you can’t go wrong with either. Think I’ll go with which ever I can find cheaper…

Turtle Wax came from some of worst products at retail value to one of the Top products. I still can’t believe nothing has really beat Seal N Shine. One of a kind product.

I def agree how it's amazing that turtle wax went from a disappearing brand in terms of lack of new products leading to decreased relevance To what I think is a leader in the consumer market, and even beating many of the expensive "professional" brands Being a very durable product at a very very good price. Especially compared to the more expensive rivals

Turtle Wax states that Max is about shine and the spray is about durability (see one of Pan’s interview videos)

seal n shine is still king imo

Seal n shine is the value to performance king! There are better products but they are also substantially more expensive. You simply WILL NOT find a better product at that price point. Great job TW!
