I wonder what made them discontinue this, my XEM AND XSSID implants have been working great and I self installed it myself within 12 minutes

Ultimately the LED modules we added began to fail and the underlying SmarTrak Bullseye NTAG216 inlay was also not well suited for this type of application and the chips, which were only just flip-chip secured to the substrate, began to also fail over time. We are considering new designs we make ourselves, but development is a slow and steady game so there is no ETA.

@@Dangerousthings I understand, I hope something with that design comes out again though because it looks cooler than any other implant

How large an incision is necessary to implant? It's such a wide surface area is there any difficulty with separating tissue?
@Dangerousthings

The diameter is 41mm so you will need a significant incision. The device itself is somewhat flexible so it may be possible to get away with a shorter incision but that is up to the professional performing the installation.

What shop around Seattle can do this for me? And what if I want it removed in a couple years? This is so cool.

Do you guys have a timeline for when these will be available?

Unfortunately these specific products are discontinued due to reliability issues. We are working on new ideas, but no timelines available yet. Sub to dngr.us/socials to keep up with new products and announcements.

How invasive is the installation, by the photos it looks like a 1 inch incision so I’m wondering if my usual local tattoo artist will be able to do it or if you suggest something else?
Any update on a full video? Also I noticed the flexNExt isn't available on dangerous things, was it taken off?
