I have been depressed and disappointed for a few days. So, I decided to give up any working and just relax myself to find myself again. For this, I have been starting to read a book named "The 5 A.M Club". This book incourage me to be the best of myself. In this book point out Mauritius Island and its Flic en Flac. I searched in Youtub to know where and how place it is. Hope one day I will have been to there.

Are there areas of F&F that you can swim that are free from coral? I have heard/read that on Mont Choisy beach they have cordoned off a long stretch of beach for swimming that is free of coral. Thanks, M.

How long does it take to walk through the forest from Tamarin to the first beach on flic en flac? Is it a well used path? Thinking, that if one lives in Tamarin, what are the nearest snorkeling spots in walking distance.

It’s probably a 20 min walk to Wolmar. An hour to flic en Flac. Snorkeling is best at flic en Flac.

Hi Alain. Welcome to the island. The best place in flic en Flac for snorkeling is where all the food trucks are near the police station. You’ll see some boats are anchored and there are some buoys. Head out from there. 👍🏻

Your knee will be healed, I speak health to it, in the name of the Great Physician. I believe you speak French as well, right? I am a French speaker also. Can you do one on the beach of Albion and the facilities you can find there? I am planning a holiday and wonder which beach is the best GrandBaie or Albion? Thank you. Merci.

Hi there, My knee is getting better, and yes I do speak a bit of French. Albion and Grand Baie are very different...Albion is much quieter and has fewer bars and restaurants. It totally depends what you're after. Possibly best, if you can, to divide your time between the North and the South - that way you really get a good feel of the island.

Very nice and informative videos. I always wonder about the high prices of local food. I am living in Thailand and compared with prices here, Mauritius is expensive. 40 MUR for a cup with a bit mango - here I pay this for 1 kilo at the market or for a half mango with sticky rice and coconut cream at a stall in the city.
