@@Bebronyoukh Yeah, I know, I've grown up with rock, and Bowie, myself - that's what I'm doing here - but it seems strange that anyone would feel sad over a stranger's death, and he is a stranger to most of us, regardless of how you feel. I mean, David Bowie had an incredible life. 69 years. There are little kids dying all the time, people who never had a chance, but we don't mourn those strangers, we're choked up over a multi-millionaire instead, a guy who did have a chance and took it. I don't think Bowie was ever going to make another masterpiece, but even if you think he might have, it's only some great records that we'll be deprived of by him dying, not someone we're close to. It just seems weird, that's all. I bet rock stars find their fans' devotion just as strange as anyone. Not that they'll complain, of course - it's that sort of fandom that sells tickets.

@@tonybates7870 some people feel a connection to his music, or to his life. When they listen to him so much and suddenly the maker is gone it feels as though a part of them is gone too. The only thing that's a little bittersweet about that, is that they wanted a David Bowie voice so much that they couldn't even ask Bowie himself to do it, because if you ask somebody to do a voice, they refuse, and then you cast somebody to do an impression of them, you're open to a pretty serious lawsuit. David Bowie was working on songs for a Spongebob musical around the time he died, among other things, so he really might've been up for it, or at least cool about it, but they didn't want to risk having to reconcieve the whole thing so they didn't ask.
