I'm a delivery driver that finds tossed away treasures on my route to flip for money!
I found this 6 drawer dresser curbside because my customers just didn't have the space for it anymore. Nothing wrong with it, just unwanted and headed to the landfilll. BUT NOT ON MY WATCH!
I picked it up and brought it home to makeover. Even though it wasn't very dirty, I still cleaned it really well before sanding the top down.
It had some weird spot on it that sanded away more quickly than the rest due to something eating through the finish, and created a bald area. I picked a like color and camouflaged it in so you can't tell the difference.
I painted the body and front of the drawers in two similar colors and used a cheetah print transfer to give this neutral some PIZZAZ!
I sealed the body with a satin clear coat and the top with Gator Hide. Gator Hide for the top because it's durable and water repellant. You know, just in case of heavy use or setting drinks on.
My incredibly sweet and golden hearted friend Cindy works closely with a local rescue and asked if I would think about donating this to their upcoming online auction. OF COURSE I said YES!
