Note: having an extension cord in hand while standing in water may equal "death". Happened to my aunts neighbor while fixing his dock with an electric drill.

Hi Rob, I"m very sorry to hear about your Aunt's neighbor. I fastened the blower and extension cord to the top rail in order to keep me safe. I appreciate you noticing and I will keep your thoughts in mind if I ever do this again. Happy New Year

I love the mattress idea but was wondering if I can just place them underneath the frame instead of using the boards. My lift has feet and the frame doesn't sit on the lake bottom so I should be able to remove the mattresses once deflated. What do you think?. Thanks

Stan, Sorry but I just noticed this note. If I didn't use the boards the mattresses would have just folded up when I inflated them. The 2x4's were necessary and I had them laying around.
