haha yes. There is footage to practice on linked in the description to try it out yourself! You can also apply this to other things in video (kind of like a clone stamp in some ways.)

@@JamieFenn I first suspected green screen. Then i saw what i thought was a tether and the fact the camera space was 3d made think it was not green screen. Thought you just spent alot of time mapping the subject.

It looks good and works very well. One thing I'm wondering about: why do you suggest adding another paint tool in case of another wire? You can just add another stroke in the existing paint tool.

Good question. I think the inspector properties would effect both lines right? And maybe the lines may not be the same. It allows more flexibility.

@@JamieFenn Nope. The Paint Tool effectively works as a container for however many strokes you want to add. And they can each have seperate properties, that you can later adjust in the modifier part of the Inspector. If you have a lot of strokes it can become unwieldy but two will work fine in one Paint Tool.

so in real life scenario in film, if they are doing wire involved actions between buildings like Manhattan/ then would they have to install giant warehouse with green screen to fake* generate city instead of actually filming in city with wires?

Is this relatively heavy on the computer? I steer clear of pretty much anything in fusion because I use a 15” MacBook Pro. I just assume that it’s going to bog it down a bit. Not sure if this is a pretty “light” process or what.

Sorry to ask, but in my DR 16 I am unable to activate the "shape animation" in the stroke controls... I right click there, after creating the polyline stroke in the video, but nothing happens... Anything I forget to do before?

If you follow exactly what I do there shouldn't be an issues. Make sure the nodes are connected correctly and do the steps I do exactly. You dont right click on the polyline stroke. You only right click down on stroke controls to animate/keyframe the line.
