@lupinyonsei toprock is influenced by plenty of different dance forms, and toprock is not a whole seperate dance like locking or poppin, toprock is an element in breakin, so its completely different, and the only moves i can think of that a bboys have copied from gymnast is flare, if you can think of anymore let me know

@realkef how about some freezes - or the L Kick, whatever you call it... moves like normal handstands...Windmill ...or the continuous Backspin some call it, the Kip-Up could been from Martial Arts... And ..well don´t state that thing about toprock --- or the dancestyle rocking - how about arguing with Wiggles about that ;-) ...it IS an own dance... that came before the TERM Bboying - the term ROCKING was the thing back then...but ...i don´t wanna go in that... ;-)

Always some argument going on... In my philosophy dance and music are very similar, music used to be big based genres with no sub genres and now it's hard to categorize what genre a track is. But it's a good thing! it's called progression. Same with dance, If we didn't progress in a general sense then how are we here now? stop trying to limit the dance by maintaining "tradition" and applaud this new age of creativity. If the underground and old skl heads appreciate it then why can't you?

lolol if him doin dougie ruins this dance u might as well say that starting from 0:16 when he begins to lip sing the song ruined it as well cuz hey thats not part of locking D:

@realkef who says you can't mix it ? you ?? sorry but you don't seem to have a clue about trhe whole thing at all ! it's ALWAYS about creating something new !! the mix out of locking and dougie is making him a true original ! and that's why everybody loves it ! you really need to think about your opinion once again ...
the dougie aint a jerk move the move you know as dougie exsist before jerkin befor you start to say a move do not belong in an dancestyle try to figure out where the move come from and stop to think in boxes

@realkef airdits first round against Just do it had salsa step toprocks. multiple bboys have some sort of handsprings/flips in their move list. I've seen lilou do locking during an IBE bboy battle. so I'm wondering now, are you going to tell bboy machine "nope sorry, flips don't belong in bboying. thats all gymnastic based"? the fact is your an idiot to suggest that Flockey ruined his showcase by putting a little dougie because you think dougie doesn't "belong" in locking.

all that tiny amount of dougie did was add a tiny portion of swag to his ridiculous amount of swaghe had in this solo anyway... a little dougie goes a loooong way, i thought it was great

@realkef because i've bboys copy popping footwork in their toprocks. because I've seen les twins win hiphop competitions with incorporating some jerk moves. cause I've seen poppers take locking techniques. These days dancers are all doing multiple styles.. To say one type of move doesn't belong in a dance is really stupid. If that's the case, quit doing gymnastic techniques in your bboying. in fact go quit bboying cause so many moves are stolen from other genres.
