I had a physical the doctor told me to squeeze his hand as hard as I can. Then he hollered and said he told me to squeeze not break.

Anything over 100 pounds now days is considered a team lift and companies that require this in a HPE are putting the employee at risk before they even start the job. If you are hurt during your physical the company is still liable for medical damages to you.

It should be a team lift. But I never get any help. I have to throw away 250 lb of metal chips by myself while getting accused of taking PEDs.

Mine was lift 50lbs overhead, 75lb walk and pivot, 75lb hold, 50lb floor to table lift, etc etc. The 50lb overhead lift for me as a 6'4" dude is absolutely gonna hurt my back my center of gravity is all messed up with it

I never use belts. Even at gym i never use belts or gloves.

belts are only used when you can't keep proper form on your own, I used belts for a bit in till I could properly dead lift, squat, and do lunges in proper form without the need or use of the belt. Only time I ever used the belt after that is when I squatted 1000 lbs during my sophomore yr in high school but after that I never used belts unless needed. With gloves on the other hand I never seen the point of using them sense to me they mostly get in my way and every time I wear them I feel like im not gripping anything if that makes sense, plus being barehanded helps build callouses. Anyways it all depends on if your comfortable wearing the belt sense most people I see at gyms nowadays use them especially those wannabes bodybuilders I see at my towns gym so its all comes down to you.

If you can get good leverage you can press it over head even 225 lbs is not extremely heavy maybe its your balance.
