@@RobStacks I enjoy that you gamble and give action without being dumb like other vloggers, if that makes sense. Some of the Texas livestream games drive me crazy with the lack of good poker being played. I feel like your approach is the right balance.

@@yaboi912 I play in Texas, and although the poker might be insanely crazy. I think I’ll take wreck less players over well balanced players. Are the beats insane ? Yes sometimes they are. But I like action tables.

@@mayanaztec6440 Right but it’s kinda infuriating watching dudes who can crush 5-10 in Vegas go get torched in Texas against some whale playing 7-4 off suit.

@@yaboi912 Yeah, I was just playing today here in Texas and I lost two all ins to some maniac that was severely behind every single time. And yes, it’s infuriating, so much so that I decided not to rebuy. But when I got home took my wallet out and counted 4K that I still had in my wallet,I said all good. This is the money I’ve won in the last month playing against maniacs. By the way, I’ve made much more than that actually because I’ve eaten out,put gas in my vehicles payed the hourly and monthly fees that these poker rooms charge all out of wallet.

I get frustrated by the flop call/turn raise. Flop raises are much weaker than turn raises, and villains have better perceived equity on the flop than on the turn. Just raise right away. If villain has Ax/QJ/JT/fd/etc., he's much more likely to call a flop raise than a turn raise. I think the T53r flop was a much better flop to call. Ugh 5 bet with AQ.

Ya i got a little cute on that one, normally raising i just felt like all 3 would fold, nothing wrong with that outcome either..I was hoping a K falls or sb bets out again..

Had a light bulb moment with your comment on reca betting small on river. Appreciate you. Personally I don’t understand why you straddle and are proud of defending light. Seems quite costly-I.e the Q/10 hand
@RobStacks
Жыл бұрын
Thanks Dac! For the straddle I wouldn’t say I’m proud, I just feel ok doing it/defending light in deeper games when comfortable navigating post flop. Q10 definitely costly 🤣 but I’ve won some massive ones as well messing around in straddle👌

Hey rob! Great video. I was wondering if you’d ever considered making a video full of live low stakes exploits/advice similar to the bet sizing tell in this video. As a dealer I’m sure you have a lot of info that could be great for 1/2 players like myself.

Hi Rob, great vlog. Quick question, how do you go about table/game selection? Ive played at multiple casinos in the US where there are plenty tables, but its really really hard to find a good game, maybe there are basic tips about days of the week, specific hours, times of the month(holidays, football games)which would make it a lot easier to find good games(fish/action packed). Thanks a lot!
@RobStacks
Жыл бұрын
Hey thanks! Honestly I’m pretty lazy when it comes to changing tables haha. But ya typically games that are louder, more talkative seem to be better. In Vegas, weekends are always going to be good, especially when sports games are going in town, better chance more recreational players will be wanted to get out and gamble. 😁
