It really is the forgotten coast. Unfortunately the only time you hear about that part of Florida is when there's a Hurricane headed that way. Great video.

Let’s keep it forgotten and not get developed like the rest of coastal Florida has. Something nice about enjoying a quaint seaside town.

We've been going to Port St. Joe/ Mexico Beach FL pretty much all of our lives. Awesome views and people. The Sunset Coastal Grill there is still under construction rebuild. It is a fabulous restaurant. BTW being a recent subscriber I see y'all have stayed at our home base campground, Reed Bingham State Park. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us.

I went through Mexico Beach and by the Air-force Base in both directions about two weeks before the hurricane. Saw a bear just staring at the cars in the Air-force Base property. In Mexico beach I remember think how old school it was. @ weeks later it was all gone...

Great video. As we watch You Tube we are making 3x5 cards on places we want to go, both the raw bar and the beer made the cut. Did you get any photos of the pole barns for RV's. We have property in South Carolina that we would like to have a spot like that for our Roadtrek.
@AbomAdventures

I didn’t get any video of the pole barns. They’re typical for what a poke barn looks like though. Some were bigger than others, some had a second lower roof for boat storage. One even had a screened in area attached to a pool. They’re getting very creative with them.

Haven’t been here yet, but own a place in the Crystal River area you just left. Would like to see the pole barn shelters you were mentioning as I have a large amount of palm and live oak. Don’t need palm fronds and limbs landing on an RV roof!

I didn't get any shots of the pole barns but they are becoming very common. A little google research will show you what they look like and the options are pretty vast on how you can have them built.

Actually, you can have ice cream whenever you want, including for breakfast! Then have a breakfast beer. I have done both of these ;) Very cool to hear there are a lot of pole barn / RV set ups here - that is exactly what we want to do and possibly in this area. We are a bit SE of PSJ now and not "feeling" the area. PSJ and large surrounding area looks lovely!
