The first model he went into is called Platinum ll XL RRT. I will be picking up that exact model June 1st. My wife and I were ready to buy a 2020 Leisure Unity FX. Then we got to spend a lot of time in the Coach House at the Tampa show. The way I wanted the Leisure with a $10k discount was $153K. The Coach House was $202k with discount and a 5 year warranty (normal for CH is 3 years but for the show gave us two more years) was $192K. Is the Coach House worth $40Kmore? For me yes. I got Lithium batteries. One piece shell which no one in the class B+ C has. Hydraulic slide instead of electric. A very big deal for my wife and I is Coach House is a true four season RV. Leisure is not. We live in and like to travel to cold places in the winter. Oh and by the way the TV that is shown in the first RV does come down and swing out to view. I could list a lot more things that we liked better but bottom line is we like the over all quality of the Coach House. Leisure is very good but we wanted more and we found it.

I wish you would take the time and tell me more about the product you liked. I can't afford a new Coach House BUT I'm looking at used ones. The one thing I don't like about the coach house is it's on a Ford chassis and for me, I like to sit higher in the driver's seat and look over the hood like the Mercedes but the Mercedes is much too small. I didn't realize that the CH was a true four-season RV that is definitely the reason it cost a lot more. Let me know how you like the vehicle now that you've had it a couple of months

I'm not sure why you'd pay more for a Coach House rather than a Leisure Travel Van. Especially since the sinks and kitchen area is bigger in a Leisure Travel Van. These just seem like they're way overpriced for what you get, compared to so many other models. Thanks for taking the tour and braving the crowds and heat!

I have owed 2 Coach House motor homes and I can tell you the quality is unbelievable especially in this age of RV's thrown together with no regard for quality! I currently have a 2016 Sprinter with the queen bed and the dinette...we absolutely love it! You cannot imagine what a benefit the carbon reinforced fiberglass one piece shell is worth! No seams anywhere to leak or squeak! And the service you will not find anywhere else. Yes, they are expensive...but worth every dang dollar!!! Great video Robert!!!

We have a 2010sprinter, we have had it five years, no problems, 17-19 mpg love it . The company is in Florida they are great , repair/replace any item at the factory. Just a great RV. The resale values are also the best , just look up the price of a used one . It's not like other RVs we you drive them off the lot you loose over fifty percent of its value

I feel like I'm missing something. $200k for these? One piece fiberglass is great, but the utility cabinet did not scream quality and old school door chocks..... I would expect more refinement for those prices.

Yea, the old ones on the E450 had cab over sleeping, more space, bigger windows and was much cheaper. I like the Sprinter but $200k? I don't know

I have been doing exhaustive research for the purchase of my first RV. My opinion is that the quality of the Coach House product is second to none. They are even respected within their industry. I talked with several current owners and the $60,000 question is what problems have you had. Not one person said they had problems with their unit. The one piece body will never rattle. It is also reinforced with carbon fiber at stress points; strong and light. The OCCC of the Ford units are very high. The 271 for example has an OCCC of 2700 pounds with full tanks and can tow 7500 pounds!!! Not a small thing for such a compact unit. The slides are driven hydraulically and not with electric motors as so many others are. The cabinets are not L shaped but completely finished with their own backs and then attached to the walls. Do I wish they were less expensive? Heck yes. But as the saying goes, you get what you pay for in this world.

I liked the last smaller one. Accept the twinbeds and the minisink. (I would struggle to fit both hands in that one.) Fun fact we call Twinbeds - Pensioner beds in Sweden.

So you're paying about 80 - 90 grand above a typical class C. The paint looks beautiful - no big swoosh graphics!! I'm assuming an all one-piece shell with no rubber roof?? Even so, that's a pretty stiff premium.

I am with u on the twin bed issue but a lot of twins do convert to a queen bed and I noticed one of the coach house models you were in had the cushions to do just that laying on the bed. Even the Leisure T twin bed model converts to a queen

Nice coach house! Wow crazy how it’s one large fiberglass! Lithium batteries are a plus, but I’m with you on the twin beds. 👎. TV location is important. No one wants a Crocket neck. 😯 on the sticker price! I’ll keep the one I have. Thanks for bringing us along. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Coach House is the best built and handling RV, especially in crosswinds. It’s curved aerodynamic shell will never leak, rot, mold or mildew. TV slides down and swivels for acceptable viewing. Would prefer if tv pulled out, swiveled more and closer to the exit door. If Ford offered a diesel again in E450 it would be awesome. The new 7.3l gas engine has bad fuel economy. Would like induction cook top, all electric Coach.
