Hi Lori: I really like your philosphy about not worrying about finishing the projects during this time. That kind of changes my perspective, because I totally get it! Stitching Fall and/or Halloween only during this time just makes sense. I like how you take the pressure off yourself with a nice variety. Thank you for sharing!

Lori, such fun! Kitting up these projects!! Then figuring out a way to set up a stitching schedule! I have a box of purchased stitches, in a storeroom.... so, you've given me this idea of starting into the box with this scheduled start & stitching. Very excited! Working on one from 2004, right now! My 94 year old Mom & I are starting the Crossstitch University stitch, with Kimberly! We only added a purple, as the called for teal is nice, but not me.) The color is what I remember the refrigerator/ freezer color was. There was a bottom freezer & the fridge door had a push button to open it. Thanks for your insights & inspiration!!! Next project will be to make my own design boards for use with cross stitch & quilting! I love the idea of cutting some to fit into project bags.

Fun projects! I have some of the patterns to do the fall stitching, but I decided to focus on "Coming to America" for the 66 days that the Pilgrims were sailing. My pilgrims ended up with slow winds, lol! But, they will get to America. ;) I am in love with "Thomas" by Not Forgotten Farms. I'm going to have to call Shepherd's Bush...... THANKS!

Lori, you are such a wonderful inspiration to me. I too have been sewing since I've been around 9 years old (75 now). My mom taught me and when I am quilting or making dolls or cross stitching, I too , like you, think of my mom and grandma. I have 8 cross-stitch half done projects and thought that was bad, you have 17, you go girl. You are a blessing. Love you, Sally in Virginia

Thanks for the teabag dye demo. I tried it once without any knowledge of what or how to do it. I really wasn't overjoyed with the results. Seeing you rub the tea bags over the fabric makes a big difference. My husband had a good chuckle during your video. He says it sounded like me, so many things I love and have wanted to do, but never find the time to do them. Oh the woes of a crafter, lol.

Thanks for the video Lori and showing your tea dye process. Loved seeing all your projects and the project bags. I need to get busy sewing or ordering some bags. For Stitchtober I will probably still be stitching the latest Stitch Quarterly Hey Pumpkin and start Country Cottage Needleworks October cottage. Also finish November. I was making some changes to the pattern last year and need to get back to it. I never thought of making it my own until Kimberly mentioned it. Nice to see you do the same. I also have Shannon Christine's Pink Barn pattern which I'm anxious to start. Not really Fall looking so I may wait on that one. See you next time.

So glad you have joined the floss tube channel - so enjoyed seeing what you are stitching, the variety of fabrics, count sizes, colors and thread choices !! Like many others who have already commented, love the bags, specifically for me, who made the sheep bag near the end ( I saw a tag on the side). Also, would it be possible to zoom in a little more so we can see the charts better. A few I was not familiar with. As for me, I will be stitching Hey Pumpkin, Raven Bewitched, Gnostics & Gourds, Stitch Card F (by Lori), Hello Pumpkin & Halloween Sampler. Won’t finish them all, some are more multi-year projects. Oh, & loved the tea dye process. Can’t wait to try. ❤️❤️❤️
