The Sarah Comfort Sampler is beautiful. I've been working on samplers to hand down to my children. Then hopefully they can hand down to their children. I have a quilt that my grandmother embroidered all fifty state flower and birds with red white and blue fabric all by hand. It's a king size quilt. It's very heavy. It was handed down to me being that I'm the oldest granddaughter and I'm almost 60 years old. I'm very proud to have this quilt and will cherish it to my dying day. Hopefully my son will cherish it thereafter. Your harmony box is outstanding. You have out done yourself. It is definitely a family keepsake. Happy stitching stitchy sister.

Christine, thanks so much for the lovely podcast…your Sarah Comfort sampler reminded me of a family name…spelled the same, but pronounced as Sarie…beautiful quilt that hold’s so many memories…I love Lori’s fabric and quilt patterns…your memory box is exceptional…and the idea of a booklet to share with each family is excellent…Michelle of Mamma Loves you GB, has developed several friends that have helped her research the different girl’s schools and towns, she might help you with the research of the very old sampler stitcher’s…and Agnes, a very affectionate cat…I hope that everything goes well as she heals…be safe, best wishes and happy stitching ❤

Kristine, I so enjoyed this FlossTube!! The thought that went into your Forget-Me -Not box honoring the women of your past is so very precious! I love the result, so beautifully stitched. I did chuckle throughout this FlossTube at little Miss Agnes and her persistence of your attention. How very lucky is she to have landed on your doorstep! You are truly a lovely person , to take such good care of this sweet baby. I lost the last of my six cats a month ago and understand all the different personalities they have, she is a sweet one for sure. Thank you for sharing and keeping it real! Love your box! The paper, the lettering of the woman’s names the whole thing. Oh the purr is much bigger than the kitten. Thank you for showing the 30’s long arm. I always would tell my customers that if a woman could afford a sewing machine she won’t be hand piecing it. If she had a sewing machine I’m sure she’d be tempted to use it to quilt. I would get so fed up with people telling others it isn’t a quilt if it wasn’t all hand done. I’m actually a lover of hand quilting, it’s how I love to quilt. However there is a time and place to use the machine. I figured I’m going to have to life to be over 100 if I must hand quilt all my flimsies. Love your shaker hand quilting supply box! I come from a long line of Quakers on my father’s side who helped settle Pennsylvania. I made a Quaker sampler to remember my 4th great grandparents Quaker family. The mother’s name was Sarah and her daughter’s name also. My youngest daughter’s middle name is Sarah too. It’s wonderful the Quakers kept good family histories.

Bravo on the finish! Stunning and gorgeous! Regarding the sneezing cat! Long story short - inherited my daughter in laws family cat after the tragic death of her dad. The cat had been outside for about 3 months due to the situation and came to me with a constant productive sneeze - what snotters those were. I didn't want to bother anyone with this and went to several vets including a cat dentist - ($1K just for that - yes you read that right). Never did figure it out and later discovered the cat had always been a sneezer yet no one had thought to tell me! And she continued to sneeze until 5 years later when she lived out her long life! So just fyi - what a lover cat. It is nice to be found!

It was the star today, with Agnes vying for first😂 She is a sweetie and she knew to find the perfect human in you! One of ours has a chronic upper respiratory condition picked up at the Humane Society. She has drippy eyes, so we follow her around with a box of Kleenex! I'm sure Agnes will return to perfect health with your excellent care! Happy stitching! Hugs, Candace
