Hi Meghan! Queen of Silk is so gorgeous! Congrats on everything lining up. Typing is so much harder with a cast rather than a splint for some reason. The orthopedic doctor thinks I will only need to be casted for 2 weeks so that is good news. Beautiful colors in your new start and nice progress already! Congrats on your new job! So happy for you as I know you were stressing about it. It is a huge change to transition back to in-house work after so long at home. Looking forward to seeing your celebration kits. Belated happy birthday to your daughter! I do the same thing for Walter, he doesn't need things but he has so much fun with them. Took him with me to Walmart last week and he made out well! LOL I love seeing the northern lights. Used to see them fairly frequently when I lived in northern Michigan but have no chance of seeing them in Texas. How cool to see the orcas in the fjord!!! Great photo of the northern lights. Thank you for sharing the stunning video of the landscape on your trip. Love the sunset picture at the end! You know how darling I thought Sheila Sheep is. Nice progress on your other WIPs. I tried really hard to break my little toe yesterday morning, rammed it into a steel bed leg. It looked like it was at a funny angle and had point tenderness. Since I was going to the ortho anyhow, had him look at it, had x-rays and it is not broken but is a beautiful shade of purple and blue today and quite swollen. Jeez, I will be glad to turn a different age! Hope things go well with the new job. Happy stitching!

Oh your poor toe! Glad you'll only need a couple weeks in the cast, then hopefully back to stitching! Thank you for typing anyway and your wishes on the new job. So cool you used to see the Northern lights often! Haha I bet your grandson was happy! 😊

Great news about your new job, congratulations!! Loved all the progress you've made and it was nice to see how your LNS looked like, thanks for the tour - it's much more than I get here in Finland and I live in Helsinki, the capital...! Cross stitch has all but disappeared as a craft in my country, only twenty years ago we had several shops with lots of patterns =(

@@stitchingmoon That store in Førde is actually really big for a Norwegian craft store. I bought some dmc there last summer. Not great for cross stitch fabric though so I got real excited when I found rit dye online at a Norwegian store and bought a lot

Congratulations, dear!!! :) I'm so happy for you that you got the job and I'm sure you feel less exhausted over time. :) Also... belated birtdhay wishes! The little wooden stitch cat I do know. We also do have those here in different shapes. Also in plastic, not just made from wood. Little children adore those :D Burda is a german brand, you're right. But I didn't know that they made such a book with monthly patterns. Nowadays Burda is just known for its sewing and knitting/crochetting magazines. They don't publish x-stitch magazines anymore (or not that I would know about). Overall we've just two CrossStitch magazines and one mixed hand craft magazine where cross stitch is included from time to time. Our bigger stores look like the store you were in... but what an variety of floss. Haven't seen those here (but that can be because of the region I live in). :) Was fantastic to look at :) Wish you all the best and a big thank you to your hubby for celebrating with you the way you did :DDDD
