I agree with you about 18 count. I feel the same way. My stitches lay terribly with 2 threads. Congratulations 🥳 with your finishes they looked fantastic. When pulling the threads and not having them curled you need to just loosen the loop ( on the card) so there is no tension when you pull the thread. I hope that makes sense. 👍Hugs 🤗 Tania.

Happy you are back! Absolutely love your finished works. Gorgeous!! I agree with you on 18 ct. I started Frankenstein on 18 with 2 strands and it was too much so ripped it out and started with 1 strand and it isn't enough but with it being Frankenstein, it will look OK. I will never use 18 again!

@@dmscraftyvortexuse the good hangers and don’t hang them in a drafty area and you should be looking at them on your walls for years.

I enjoyed your sewing parade and the patterns. I like the Dragon Painter and look forward to seeing your progress. How could you control yourself when opening those FFO’s. Crinkling the paper is not a problem because they were so good. I also got some stitching done while I watched and listened. Thank you.😊

You are pulling one strand correctly. If the curl bothers you, you can use a dap sponge piece to make it straight. I just full it between by fingered and don’t have a problem.

I forgot to say: with the thread curling when you remove it, I just run it through my fingers and that makes a big difference. But if you were to keep a bit of sponge in a small jar with water and run it over that, I suspect you’ll find it straightens it very well, and virtually eliminates knots. 😊
@dmscraftyvortex

The water doesn’t make it hard to stitch with?
@emveecee

@@dmscraftyvortex if you just dampen your fingers a bit, that should do, it’s enough to smooth it out, and it does not “wet” the threads. Ever runs damp hands over your hair to smooth stray flyaways? Same principle. And even using the damp sponge, it’s amazing how fast the thread dries completely. After all you’re running it through dry fabric.😉
