I have an idea for you. Imagine that!! lol. However, when you get to a stump in stitching perhaps you pull a group of projects you’d like to finish and do “30 days to the finish line” where each week for the month you pull from a bin of projects you want to finish. Say 5-6 per week.

Nice to know about your Norwegian background. I lived in Ålesund, Norway for about 3 months. I got to learn some of the language, which I can still recall to this day. I do miss speaking it because there are not many people in America who know Norwegian. To prevent grid lines from showing I like to stitch row by row for the most part. It is a very slow method (like watching paint dry), but I have yet to see any obvious grid lines on my WIPs.

Well look at you Mr fancy pants living in Norway for three months! 🤣🤣 I’ve always wanted to learn it, I tried when I was a kid but that was before all the stuff they have now so I literally had a Norwegian English dictionary and was trying to sound words out but I had no idea how they went together 🤣

@@jennthecaffeinatedcrafter5679 there aren't many books or websites that teach the language in depth compared to like Spanish or French. The only place that I found is duolingo. The locals mainly speak English so you actually do not need to learn Norwegian. Forvo is a good website to use if you want to hear the pronunciation of a word.

Love seeing your progress. Question on your master set for DMC are you worry about dye lots being different? I been thinking about changing to a master set for my full coverage as it starting to get a little expensive to kit each full coverage up separately but I can’t decide.

I’m not, mainly because my pieces have so much confetti. If there are any dye lot differences they will blend in with everything lol If I’m going to work a large area of one color then yeah I will check and make sure where I’m stitching comes off the same skein, otherwise I live on the edge 🤣

Jenn, can you explain what tent stitch is ?
@suzyqntx

Tent stitch is where you don’t do the complete X, you do just the top or just the bottom leg, / or \. Jenn does like I do and only does the / leg.
