Dear Laura... I have watched part one and two of your WIP parade and thoroughly enjoyed both. You are hard on yourself for chatting, but that's who you are and part of the reason I love your videos. You are quite vulnerable in sharing your inspiration, thought process, joy, frustration, etc. Your choices are very unique and personal to you, so your WIP parade kind of mirrors who you are. I am amazed that you were able to get through all of your wips in such a short amount of time 😂 I just started stitching last September (other than a few things in the 90's)and have done lots of smalls because I needed to experience some finishes. I finally braved stitching on linen and love it. I am at the other end of the spectrum with only 5 wips and one is a dud! 😊 I have decided to move on to bigger and better things this year so I will keep you posted! Take good care and keep chatting! Laurel 💞

I thoroughly enjoyed getting to watch both parts of your parade today; I was working through some tedious tasks at work and your videos made the time fly by. I especially enjoyed seeing Petal Fairy. I'm doing her and Bliss Fairy on the same piece of fabric facing each other. I'll be starting them at some point this year; I just need a chance to focus on the math and layout to make sure I position them the way I want them. Your talk about the stiff Aida in kits reminded me of an experience I had last year. A coworker had picked up a beginner kit that came with everything included and instructions to finish it in the hoop. She tried stitching it and didn't enjoy it so gifted the whole thing to me. I was going to stitch it finish it and return it to her (it was of a cat and I don't have cats while she does). The fabric was so stiff and horrible and made my hands hurt so much that I pitched it all. How would manufacturers expect people to buy and stitch more if they try to start them out with something like that?? 🪡👠

The thumb's up/down - LOL!! That happened in my WIP parade as well! What the heck?! I'm researching - there is a way that we can turn it off. Apparently, we are making hand gestures that prompt Apple to display certain graphic reactions. We are just far to animated my friend 😅 Your fabric for Gaia The Earth Goddess wows me every time 😍 'In the Library' gets me every time you show it, or I take it out. I enjoyed both parts of the video very much, and I enjoy your chatter as well! I think you should stick with the two threads you have going on the chart with the bee skep (I can’t remember the name of it). Anyway, please forge ahead, because it looks beautiful the way you’re going on it. ALSO, 🎉 … You should be proud to know that you are an enabler! 😁 I just received my Letistitch “Christmas Shop” which, like yours, came all the way from Belgium. I think I will wash the fabric to see if it will be a little less stiff. If not, I will choose my favorite even-weave in 32 count and go from there. It’s such a lovely pattern! See you next time!! ❤

Faaaaabulous WIP parade. I was so excited when I saw you uploaded the first part last night. You have so many lovely projects. It was a real pleasure to see you go through them all. Also omg glad I'm not the only one who struggles with those Dimensions kits. Love the parade. Im.watching on the big screen, which I love, but I wish you could comment etc. on the TV. You would think with all the technology they would come up with a better way than using the remote to painstakingly pushing in all the letters to find anything. So dumb. Lol You have great projects, they are all beautiful.

Loved your double whammy WIP Parade 🤣Maybe you should do a 2023 Finish parade - FO and FFO. For your hands, you could try those fingerless gloves that stitchers wear - they would help support your fingers and palms. On 36 count, you can often do 1 over 2 - maybe try that if it will fit on the remainder of the fabric.

Hello Laura, I don't know if you already looked into it. But as an apple user there is an quite good alternative for pattern keeper. It's called Markup R-XP. I'm using it since 2 1/2 years and it was quite the game changer. Only downside is, that there is a yearly subscription fee as far as I know. I was lucky to start for free and was able to get a lifetime subscription due to early use. So I'm not quite sure about the conditions right now. Thank you also for your enabling with all your beautiful patterns!

I’ve focused on quite a few of the same ones. I did finish all of the 9 charts for Fall on the Farm in one piece 2020 and love it!! It’s a wall hanging that gets lots of attention. Im working this year on Christmas at the Farm. You inspired me to move up Hive Rules to work on it sooner…it’s slotted for March 1! Thanks soo much for your joyful inspiration!
