It's been 7 days since the broken comb incident. Today I removed the broken comb that I left in the hive and take it in the house to have a look. I find honey, nectar and about 40 cells of bee larvae.
The hive is looking great. 4 frames are roughly 2/3 full of natural comb, lots of brood, pollen and honey. They used almost a whole gallon of sugar syrup in the past week.
