great video and comments!...this trail seems like a good candidate for an e mtb, connects with other great trails ,add some extra miles and spend more time in this unique desert area!

Such a fun ride out here, so flowy! BUT next time start from Cowboy trails and do Kibble n Bits for about a mile or so, some fun up and overs then fork off to your right to head up Goat Roper climb to the top then descend that killer Flow Job trail you did. NIce work!!

I'll have to get that a go. I finally got to ride kibble n bits (right before my surgery, wasn't in the best of health) but I want to give that one another go. What are your thoughts on Bone Shaker? That's another one I'd like to give a go!
@domtron8873

I rode Bone Shaker on a short travel 29er. Definitely could have used a slacker HT angle with 27.5” wheels! Lots of climbing and descents in Blue Diamond. Personally, I think the trails are better than the trail systems in St. George UT

I think each place has their own special niche. I'd agree in that I really love the trails in Vegas and it has a good mix of them from fast, smooth and flowy to technical, steep, chunky downhill. I'd have to say that Utah has better views and equally good trails but Vegas is closer!! Have you rode Brianhead? I'd like to check that out next year. Mt Charleston was fun too but it's almost too cold now haha

It really is Paul, I'd love to throw something together where I hit a trail up above it, do Flow job and then finish it out with something like landmine or one of the other fun flows trails in the Blue Diamond network.

Flow job is fun, though I like to come up goat roper from the north. The real gem is next door to Flow Job, and that's Ebb N Flow. If you ever ride cowboy again, ride up goat roper and do Ebb.

MTBRipper its a good one. I just heard they took out that gate and made it a solid fence. 🤷🏼♀️ Heard it was ADOT that did it or maybe NDOT (I don’t live in Vegas anymore and I often get them confused with what we have here in Arizona). I did hear if you go down a little ways the fence is lower and you can climb over, not sure I’ll be doing that.

@@RCRGIRL I heard the same thing the other day unfortunately. I was looking forward to hitting that trail again to get some better content for a video. Yeah idk about having to climb over a fence. I'm thinking if they don't want us riding it then I'll just respect that. Yeah it was NDOT. Apparently NDOT and BLM work together sometimes I guess.

MTBRipper yep I’m the same. No climbing fences for me. Bears best has some cool stuff you could video and the trail up to from the park (I actually parked at the canal)

Nice riding. How's that Trek doing? Y, we may have our first 100° day down here in the SE Valley. Gotta get out EARLY now. I do a 13 mile loop in San Tan Regional Park a couple days a week with only 1000' of climbing. Also getting very dry and dusty so grip is getting less... cleaning my Yeti after every ride now. Have fun and be safe! Thanks!

Outback Wack the Trek is doing well, always enjoy the rides with it. I hear ya, were also in the same boat with🔥. That’s good you’re keeping the bike clean especially has it gets dusty. I just spent quite a bit of time in PHX, those will be the next videos. Demo’d a couple Pivots. Good stuff. Enjoy your early rides, they sound fun!

If I'm being completely honest it is and it isn't! HAHA. Little surprised that when I "turned around" to start my way back to the truck that it wasn't more downhill. Also could have something to do with skill level too. If i'd lay of the brakes more then I'd have more momentum in certain areas and they'd be easier....damn brakes hahaha

@RCRGIRL
3 жыл бұрын
I did the out and back from the bottom. The climb was more than I thought it was going to be and the decent back down also surprised me a bit, as it wasn't just all down hill...there were still some climby bits. Overall, enjoyed the ride and the views! From what I've been told they removed the "gate opening" and replaced it with a solid fence. You can still access from the top/Cowboy Trails if I'm not mistaken but not sure if it's still an option the way I did it. Hope this helps! 😊

I've heard the same thing and saw pictures where they removed the "gate" and replaced it with fencing. I believe you can still access it from the Cowboy Trail Network but cannot confirm or deny whether it's a legal trail.

You can go up goat roper from the north side then go down flow job, the trail is best that way.
