These turned out really beautiful! It would be fun to do this with other sets, too! Fun, fun!!

Hi Laurie, I love this stamped one sheet wonder demo. If you're interested in seeing another Stampin' Up demonstrator creating fabulous stamped one sheet wonders, you should check out "artfulstampin with ruth" here on KZitem. Ruth is a demonstrator in the UK and she goes live regularly throughout the week. She also has a playlist full of one sheet wonders (mostly) created live. I hope you check her out. Love from 🇬🇧.

Your cards look great! But how do you know what colors look best together? I struggle with this.

Pamela - Thanks so much for the comment on the cards! As far as working with colors, a few years ago I bought an inexpensive color wheel from a local arts and crafts store. I have had fun using the wheel to come up with color combinations. There are some really great visuals on the wheel that point out complementary and split-complementary combinations. You can also Google a color wheel on-line to get some ideas. You'll find some combinations that really work for you! Have fun with different colors! -Laurie

What are “grungy images”?
@stampedgreetings
2 жыл бұрын
To me, grungy images are abstract backgrounds like paint splats, coffee stains, randoms dots of many sizes and shapes. I hope that makes sense and helps!

I have this stamp set but never have done a one sheet wonder. I first saw Ruth Trice in the UK. She is unbelieveably creative. But yours I think I can follow and try it. Thanks for demonstrating this technique!

Thank you for showing this technique, it is beautiful. I am in Australia and the price for the stamp set is $44.00 so not affordable for me. I don't care to colour in with markers so this looked like a doable thing as only individual inks are used. Love it. Just wondering, if you start with a trimmed down plain sheet of cardstock then it won't be necessary to cut it at the the end? Cheerio 😊

This is definitely a great technique if you don't like coloring with markers. You can add a lot of colors with different inks and a lot of different images with different stamps. And, it's a pretty quick technique to make multiple cards. I prefer keeping the full page intact while I'm stamping and then cutting at the end. That way, my pieces don't shift accidentally, and it's really fun to see partial images printed on the edges of the pieces that end up being cut. I hope you give this technique a try. Shop your craft supplies for some stamps and inks that will work. Have a great one!
