A few respectful safety concerns if you dont mind. It is recommended to put the unit on the ground before operating to assist in static discharge. Then, touch the ground or large metal object to discharge static before touching hose or fuel source. Flowing fuel can build up static electricity that can spark or cause a fire or explosion. Similar to how you would fill a gas can on the ground and not on a tailgate, etc. Also, draining the intake and dispensing lines without the pump running is much safer. Lastly, gasoline vapors are heavier than air. I just bought this same unit. I have not used it yet, but it looks well built. Be safe, everyone.

All great questions Anthony. If you watch the videos on the company website I believe they do recommend having unit on the ground. I place mine where I do as I'm normally on a dusty or dirt road so I like to keep the unit up out of that. As for draining the company recommends that it is OK to run the pump to help drain the lines. I only run it for the 60-second cycle. I usually let the unit sit for about 2-3 minutes before I pack up and by then most if not all residual fuel has evaporated.

I'd love to see if you can successfully transfer from one "newer" truck to another. Don't many newer vehicles have a baffle to stop them from having fuel "stolen" by siphoning?

You can with the FloJoe. It comes with a few small funnels that hold that baffle open. It also come with some additional fuel lines that you can slide deep into the tank..

I’ll see about doing a follow up on a vehicle to vehicle transfer.

how many gallons per minute are you getting with that setup?

at one point in the video you were expecting 1/8 tank to take 5 mins. On a 40G tank, that's 1GPM. Sound about right?

A little over a gallon per minute. It states that it can do up to 72 gallons per hour.
