Quick comparison between each pair of Flowmaster mufflers that I've had on the Camaro. The first setup is with the Original 40 series, the second has Super 44's, and the last has Super 10's. Engine is a 1st gen Chevy Small Block 350ci, with Hooker Competition full-length headers, through 2 1/2" pipe, through an H-pipe, through the mufflers, and then turn-downs.
For me, the Original 40's were too "tinny" sounding. Hard to notice on video, but it's a common thing with Flowmaster. I loved the Super 44's, but they were still too "tinny" sounding. I just got the Super 10's put on, and I love them so far. Honestly, they are hardly any louder than the Super 44's at low RPM, but they scream up top, and don't have the "tinny" sound that I was trying to get rid of.
If you have any other questions, ask me. There will be a longer, more in-depth video between the 44's and the 10's next.
