No but for real, his philly shell shoulder roll type defense, anticipation, quickness, and footwork. And his reflexes, timing and especially accuracy when catching his opponents punches and almost simultaneously countering with powerful shots made him unbeatable in 50 pro fights. And with the very rare exception (Zab Judah) he never really got close to being beat. You don't have to like him, but you can't deny his record considering those fights were against the greatest the world had to offer. If he spent his career ducking the best then that would have been a different story but he fought all the best, and it turns out he was it.
