I always love your crochet videos and patterns, what makes your videos different is you explain then fast forward and explain the counts again ( for those who can't keep up use the wheel to slow down the video and use close caption to further follow along ) for those of us we can follow along. It's nice that you have fast forward to shorten the video we don't have to watch you stitch every stitch , It's not because we want to zip through it is always nice to watch your videos. Thank you so much Jonna.

is it possible to do this stitch design in a straight line rather than in the shape of the shawl? I'm trying to find a shell-like stitch to incorporate into a mermaid-inspired cardigan dress design but most of these seem to be used in square blankets or triangle shawls like this one. Thank you!

Hi! Idk if I am a little late for this,but I am currently making this shawl. I am at "row 9" for the second time ((so basically alone ahaaa)) and don't know if I shall do the ch3, skip 1,backstitch the rows together (around 15:53) the whole row or just before the middle V Stitch. Plus, if I only do that, am I just gonna backstitch the other ones 3 Times or until there is nothing to backstitch anymore and then continue with ch1 in the ch3 space ect? I hope someone knows what I mean and can help. Thanks in advantage!
Love this. I believe I'm confusing myself...lol After you do the DC ch-1 8 times, the 2nd time, (row 8) and are ready to start repeating, do you go straight to row 10 and repeat the 4 rows stated at the end of the video? I hope I didn't confuse you.
@JonnaMartinezCrochet
4 жыл бұрын
If you are growing your shawl you want to repeat rows 10, 7,8,&9 in that order until the shawl is compleat. I ended the video with visuals of row 7 and 8 because when you are finished you want to end with a repeat of row 8. I hope this helps! Thank you for watching and commenting!
@lorilandry3048
4 жыл бұрын
I understand the row repeats need to be done in the order that’s stated. I think what I want to know is when I follow along with the video, and it ends at row 8, do we start the next row, row 10 and the repeat rows in the order stated next? Go from row 8 to 10? And once we decide it’s as big as we’d like, we do a last row of row 8 to finish it? I know I’m not asking my question correctly.

I am writing this down for an elderly friend. She keeps getting confused. Do you have a patterned? Where? I am off on row 4. When you dc,ch 1 in 8 dc’s of the 2nd 1/2, do you dc in the 9th one? You just said to v stitch in the last v st

I have been crocheting for many years, creating beautiful items. However, I was intrigued to follow your instructions to create your beautiful shawl. To my great disappointment, the rate of the delivery of instructions was so rapid that I decided to quit this and go with another pattern. May I ask you to slow down and clearly show the location of the stitches. A total disappointment as I really wanted to create this beautiful shawl.
