When there are not enough cells after using a torch , add more by applying a small amount of silicone oil to a toothpick and tapping it to the surface of the paint. A little goes along way, so I do just a tiny bit of oil and it makes a ton of cells. The colors were layered in the cup int this order-white, gold, violet, a little more white. Then I flipped it over onto the wood panel which is 6”x6”, the panel already was covered in white.
