Just a quick comment on one of your early comments in the video. ECS indeed makes a “flush kit” specifically for 19” golf R wheels with the same spacing (10/17.5mm). Really enjoy your R videos and they’ve helped me a bunch! Thx

ECS does make them but they’re over $100 more than these which is just insane I think. And tbh, I looked for the 10/17.5mm from ECS and couldn’t find one with that exact spec. I saw 2 or 3 different options, but not 10/17.5mm exactly

Finally some quality CANADIAN content for us 7.5 R guys! I just purchased my 7.5 R and have made a few purchased from Park Auto and Novustech - we need more product availability here in Canada. I'm looking to ditch my 19" Pretoria wheels and swap over to my 17" Superspeed wheels year-round. I initially purchased them specifically for my winter tiers but they look so good. Just wondering what to do about spacers with my Superspeeds becuase they are hubcentric wheels.

Also not to hijack this video with seperate content - but I am on the same journey you took with EQT and will be doing the dsg tune shortly. Asking here because it’s new video :) Do you do the tcu relearn after EVERY flash of a new tcu tune - OR - is it ONLY recommends if your are experiencing odd behavior post tune? The FAQ answer on the EQT site is a bit of a run on sentence so it’s hard to know 100%. I saw you did a portion of it (a clutch calibration?) in your eqt DSG video. Thanks!

Sorry for the delay I don't check this channel often enough to notice the new comments. I did a relearn after every TCU flash based on EQT FAQ.. but it might be unnecessary. Just make sure you are fully up to ideal operating temp first, don't adapt it cold.

Love it man. How do you like it so far . Any rubbing? You thinking about lowering springs?

No rubbing at all. Love the look of it and it performs fine. I've tracked the car and drag raced it with the spacers on. I've just not edited those videos yet. I won't lower the car, because I'm in Canada (winters and bad roads)

I’ve had them on and off for two years now. No rusting or stuck on problems yet. There is also a cutout to pry them off is they did.

Can't help but notice you didn't apply any copper grease to the hub spigot before putting the spacer on?

That’s right, I don’t. Never noticed any wear in 2 years of on and off. I use a little rust cure lubricant around it, it’s clear.
