I am no woodworker, but the use of magnets and machined parts that must move mechanically would make the screw to be significantly more expensive than other screws. Also the fact that it requires a speciality screw driver would make it extremely difficult to remove without it. Given the fact that most screws are rarely, if ever, removed; This type of screw would be not very economically and the use case would be very niche.

If you prefer the look of a giant metal disk over a screw head, you should be able to achieve this aesthetic much cheaper than having to resort to a precision machined proprietary screw and the proprietary tools it'll require. Just use a metal disk plug instead. Bore your wood for the metal disk like you're doing here, sink a regular screw flush with the base of the hole, then shove a regular metal disk in the hole to achieve your desired look. If you're worried about the loose metal disk falling out, maybe glue a thin metal face onto a weak magnet. The magnet will hold the disk in place for regular, everyday use. If you need to access the screw for whatever reason, just use a stronger magnet to pop the disk out.
