It's just a cold day for these days 50 or 60years ago would have been covered in snow sad climate change believe it or not it won't be long until the southeast streams will be to warm in summer for trout to survive you can wade in tennis shoes in April now.

Thanksgiving weekend I drove two hours to one of my favorite trout streams which is also stocked twice a year. The fish were there, but clearly not interested. Then I took the water temperature, which was 33 degrees, at which point I thought it’s no wonder they’re not biting. The water is too cold. That aside, I really am enjoying your channel’s content. When I myself can’t get out, it’s nice to watch your videos in hopes of getting out myself on a nicer day. 😇

The Tooga has given me fits the last few months - more skunked days than I care to mention. Such a beautiful river so never a bad day out there.

Seems like they get educated pretty quickly out there. But yes, it’s arguably the most beautiful trout river in the southeast, you can go there for the sights alone. The fish are a bonus

What you said in the beginning is exactly the problem. Y’all have some of the best editing in the game, but don’t blow up because you don’t offer locations or techniques just “watch us fish”

Guess you didn’t watch this one all the way thru 🤷🏼♂️

First off, there is plenty of technique explanation at the end of the video. Secondly, we had to work to catch these fish. Plenty of research goes into each trip, not to mention the mental game of finding and catching fish. Sharing the exact location would nullify that for others. You want to fish here? Then do some research just like we did. There’s nothing better than finding hidden gems after weeks of planning and research. It’s like math. Knowing HOW to solve a problem and finding the answer on your own is far more valuable than someone just telling you the answer.

And it’s not even that hard to figure out where we are, an ounce of effort using some context clues in the vid and I guarantee you can figure it out. But we’ve done plenty of name-dropping in past videos and it’s just not something we want to rely on anymore, both for growth on KZitem and just cause we do put a lot of work into finding and figuring out some of these places and don’t want them to get unneeded pressure. Avoiding naming places will be a standard on this channel moving forward
