great video Steve. You have single-handedly changed my approach to the fishing the river with this video. i was on the Usk on sunday and used a lot of your advice from here which payed dividends. i think i learned more that day (and from this video) just from stepping back and observing what was going on . appreciate you sharing the knowledge.

Excellent that Steve. Absolutely sound advice and sharing of hard won experience at a time when KZitem etc is awash with poor advice and wannabe experts. Respect.

Absolutely brilliant Sir, love your aproach and the way you explain everything, especially how you grease your leader and degrese it. Very few people show you that. Keep them coming, from Cork

Great to be out when the March brown and LDO,s are a prospect and we can get out again,...yes clear water and low is always a challenge....better this week maybe. The Usk tempts...but the drive doesn't!! Simon Artley,Manchester

Loved the video Steve, I worked in Wales for 18 months and fished the Usk on a regular basis. Watching you brought back many happy memories. Stay well, Big Davie.

Brilliant! Honest account of how early season fishing can be. Full of wee nuggets of info aswell. I could do with someone reminding me to slow down and not cast like a man possesed after seeing my first rise or 2. Keep up the good work 🎣

I love the honesty of this video… Some days it’s just hard and it’s great to seasoned anglers have hard days like the rest of us. If I only went when it was easy I’d never get out! Great Stuff Steve.
