I honestly thought he was overrated. Washington announcers acted like he was Bob Probert. He had some good showings, like against Byers, McRae, and McLelland. He was better when he fought guys like Dirk Graham, Sergio Momesso, Gord Dineen. Whe he went to Dallas and had to fight tru heavies like Grimson, Crowder, McCarthy, he was shown to not be very good. I did laugh at how much he avoided guys like Dave Brown and Joe Kocur. Tie Domi made him look horrible in their few fights.

I'm never going to defend that hit by Dale Hunter, but this is the first time I have any context for that hit on Murphy. I see that Murphy laid the elbow into Cicarelli's head earlier in the game. That doesn't justify Hunter's hit, but I see the motivation. Again, it was an awful hit to the head. Both were injured. Chychrun had a tough year that season, he got his face busted by Crowder, missed some time, and then missed a bunch of games with another injury. He was also on the outs and went to LA the next season. Thee two teams met about a month later, and both Tocchet and Chychrun were in, but Kordic relapse and was out of Washington by then. @@tailhookmd2546 The story was Sheehy knew the girl and invited her to a team party. Some of the players chipped in and rented a limo so that could drink and not have to drive home drunk. At the end of the party, the 17yo girl was taken to the limo by Sheehy, Dino, Courtnall and Stevens and raped. While this was happening, Kypreos got in the limo with a bucket of chicken and realized what was going on and quickly got out of there. This is what he told the police initially.
