I’ve flown them before. I’ve actually flown in that exact plane before. It’s worth it when the price is right. You can sometimes find flights for only $99-$150 one way and it’s definitely worth it. The LAS terminal is one of the biggest terminals they have. It was the main terminal for the airline after all (now that has become Dallas where they’re main headquarters are). They emphasize the 20min pre arrival time bcuz they don’t want you sitting there forever with nothing to do haha. You can also choose to not pay for a seat but you’ll be put in one that is randomly available. If it’s any consolation though the receptionists tend to fill the bigger (double depending on if it’s an older plane or not) seats first if they are available. I say if you’re flying alone don’t bother picking a seat. They almost never put you with a stranger. Half the planes don’t even have double seats, they have the tabled seats instead I’ve flown a tabled seated plane as well. It was nice being in that big seat but I’m a small person so I didn’t care for it as much as someone else would. Snacks and drinks are complimentary and bottomless so it’s a nice trade off for a max 2.5hr flight imo. Some lounges are nicer than others and another nice bonus is that there is no restrictions to what you can bring on the plane in terms of food. A lot of people will show up with like in n out and just eat it on the plane. I had a nice big boba drink. Plus I was able to bring my makeup without worrying about liquid capacity so that was nice All in all it’s worth it for the price if you care about comfort/convenience but if you care more about price then you may wanna go for a cheaper option. It’s only a 3hr flight so no one would blame you for flying for less Hope this helps :)

If you think about it, it's the long lines, dragging a bag thru long terminals and crowds that make travel time-consuming and exhausting, so when you can just walk up, jump on, then relax and watch the view. It's lovely. And yes, it's a bit more $, but how much am I worth an hour... :)

@@sparkzz5367 I did it was 🔥🔥🔥!!! The next is not having to worry about parking in the main airport, I parked at a friends about 20 min away and took and Uber since I live in the opposite side of the city. Arrived 21 min before flight time. Packed a backpack and 1 overnight bag. Was impressed with how easy it was to walk in, scan my ticket info, board and sit down unbothered. They offered me a small bottle of H2O. It also made me realize how much useless $$ I usually spend when I get past TSA Precheck. Books, drinks at the bar, snacks to take on the flight. Stupid stuff lol. For what you pay In convenience on JSX is significantly less than what you spend anyways when you actually get into the terminal. Would take again, I wish they had a San Antonio route. But I don’t think they do it would be perfect

This is the only airline that I could find a reasonable cost for flying with medium-large pet dogs in cabin. With all major airlines only allowing service dogs (not even ESAs) you're limited on options for bringing fido. And the expedited boarding and low crowd experience is ideal for lowering travel stress with pets. I just wish they had a direct flight cross country. We are currently booked on two separate flights to hop-skip cross country- total cost is on par with a first class ticket on a major airline.

I only fly with JSX now, the convenience of just showing up 30 mins before the flight and your bags being handed to you as soon as you exit the plane, to me is worth every penny. I don't care about luxury, I just care about a "stress free" flight experience. Again, that alone sells it for me.

Nice review! I'm a JSX superfan. When ya know, ya know ;) You're right about the seat upcharge being off brand. I was surprised to see that when booking recently. It really detracts from the experience. The brand permeates all of their customer touch points and should be treated accordingly. I don't think they were doing that last year, but I may have forgotten. There's no bad seats on the plane anyway, so I'd never pay a penny more just to pick one out.

I mean, it’s a lot less than charter planes but I guess it might still be for well off flyers and Rich flyers. But you know at the same time if you’re someone who is visually impaired like me, you don’t have to worry about finding your gate at a regular airport, and then have to go through the whole process. I mean it could make someone who is visually impaired anxious. From a visually impaired persons perspective you’re kind of paying for accessibility.

Honestly, it looks pretty underwhelming...they didn't charge a lot more than the other major airlines and it shows. Not having any snacks at the lounge was "criminal". I guess the way JSX sees it, you really paid for speed of check in and boarding, not to spend time hanging out at the lounge. However, just having coffee & tea is not enough. I'm not expecting hot food, but give your passenger something to eat at least. That grocery receipt boarding pass was just Eff-up. How cheap can you go? Nothing looks like a premium experience at all; especially when some of their jets are plastered with cheap advertisements. JSX basically leased some available hangers and created their own mini terminal for their own aircraft. You're just basically avoiding the crowds and have a quicker check in experience, but it is not considered in the premium category at all.
