As a Brazilian-born citizen l'm proud to see several channels dedicating video recording moments for the EMBRAER Phenom 300...it means its success and the Brazilian engineering too🇧🇷😃

I like the quick chop up of the flight. Much better shots of the actual opeartion than the other videos, so didn't miss the takeoff/landing at all. Thanks 👍

No APU then? Excellent video, thank you!! (wanna co-pilot?!, am local, EGLL) If no GPU can you do it on the batt? 5000 fpm roc at 230kts. Rather excellent!! What sort of Kg/HR fuel burn do you get at cruise Econ? How many kg of fuel for the climb to cruise? How many kg for the descent to initial app? How much for a G/A and flight at 2500' for 45 mins?

Sorry if I missed it in one of your videos. Since the 300 does not have an APU, is there a provision to use the No. 2 engine at reduced power (like 80%) to provide power and bleed air for HVAC short-term while on the ground to cool down/warm up the airplane before a flight?
@lucasgrego123

Yes, it's called Ground Power Mode and its operation is well described at the SOP manual.

Hi. Thank you for making these videos. I saw in a different one, you started engine 2 first. Is there anything that makes you start one side before the other. Looking forward to the next one!

Hi, great video, as usual. I've been meaning to ask you, what do you think of the latest release of the Phenom 300E?

I like! I do like when manufacturers keep making improvements to their products. And as a pilot, going faster is always on the list!

How do you like the Garmin G3000 compared to Pilatus' Honeywell avionics?
@windingtrail9319

I haven't really used them much in the Pilatus. Have sat in one and tried imputing flight data. I will say I like the Gamin WAY more.

If you was in the market for a light jet, would you chose the M2, Honda Jet Elite or Phenom 100? Take out the factor you are type rated in the 300.
@windingtrail9319

I am typed in the Phenom 300 and 100. But I'm also typed in the CJ series. Have 1000 hours in the CJ1 and 1500 in the CJ2+. I would have to look hard at the M2 and the 100E. The M2 is the next of the CJ1 line. And the CJ1 was just a great airplane. So, I'd look at those 2(M2 and 100E) very in depth.

@@windingtrail9319 It looks like the basic difference is the phenom has a taller cabin, but the M2 has more range. I would think range over inches, unless one is looking at upgrading in the future to the phenom 300. Then its a no-brainer.

Glad to hear your flight schedule began to fill in again. You are rated on the G1000 and G3000. Is the G3000 a totally improved version of the G1000, or are there things of the G1000 that you prefer over the G3000?
@windingtrail9319
4 жыл бұрын
Very good question! It(the G3000) is better and cleaner. But a few things are quicker to do on the G1000. That can make single pilot a bit easier. But I'd take G3000 all else being equal.

@@windingtrail9319 Thank you for your answer. I asked this because I've seen you click too much on the small screens to get to a specified menu while it seems that on the G1000 you can just type it in on the keypad. I think Garmin tried to cram in too many menus and options on that small screen.

They do have a tailpipe limit. But I find they are much more forgiving during the start than the Williams engines on the CJ. I'm talking the P&W 535 on the Phenom 300. Not the Phenom 100.

How hard is the transition from the phenom 100 to the 300?
@windingtrail9319
4 жыл бұрын
I actually went from Phenom 300 to 100. And I had over 1500 hours in 300 before I was typed or flew the 100. So I just had to deal with less, of everything. But going from 100 to 300, it will be managing your power and speed. Being prepared and not falling behind the airplane.
