Loved the additional "on the ground" segment. What a vibrant community Tromso! Norway is breathtaking.

Just saw this channel and noted your question why you could not transfer directly to domestic at Oslo. Norway is part of the Schengen treaty but no EU member country which means you had to go through customs. Only on arrival because they are mainly looking for alcohol. Note that before leaving the domestic area of the departure hall at Oslo (between gates A/B/C and D/E) you have to pass a one-way channel (like most airports place it before entering the baggage hall) so that you cannot load up with booze at duty free before boarding to Tromsø. Having been a long-standing observer (though anonymously) of your FR24 videos I like the short impressions about a destination city.

Thanks for the comment Michael! My question was about having to go through security, not about inbound Norwegian customs. At security surely they're not looking for alcohol (that would be a customs issue). In most European airports, EU or not, a second security screening to transfer from other points in EU is not required. That's what I was wondering about, why Norways requires this. Anyway, thanks for watching!

Definitely appreciate a little bonus footage of the town itself, especially at airports where long layovers might mean an opportunity to actually get out for a quick tour

Thanks! I'm thinking about including some standalone "layover" videos - short guides with some tips for what to do with a few hours between flights, or even a day between.

As with the majority of Scandinavia, Norway has figured out how to balance development and a respect for the natural environment. The result is a beautiful country, whether on the ground or flying over. Yes, there is all that oil money, but it doesn't seem to have gone to anyone's head. Flying into the arctic in winter has to be the ultimate thrill. Disembarking and then running a half-marathon is something else again. More power to the crazy runners. As we've come to expect, another super video from Air Edition. My only minor criticism was the thankfully quick shot of the stuffed polar bear, which hopefully died of natural causes.

Great video! Agree with the comments about SAS Plus, though the free wifi is always appreciated. By the way, Svalbard is spectacular (did the half marathon there 4 years ago). The approach to Longyearbyen is on par with the one to Tromsø

Yes...some footage and comments regarding your final destinations would be great. Why was it so bright at night? Was it moonlit? Norway looks beautiful!
