Thank you so much for all of your videos, you taught me so much. At first I thought it's all just about getting a tidier home but over time I finally realized that it all really is about caring and especially caring about myself. I used to get my kids dressed In the morning and when I wanted to leave the house I realised that I was the only one not dressed yet. I used to fold and put away my kids and my husbands clothes but mine stayed in the laundry basket all jumbled up. I used to get breakfast for everyone else and end up not having eaten myself or eating something I did not really like. Now I give my own clothes the same attention as everyone else's, I get dressed myself first and then help the kids and I make myself the breakfast I like. And all those things I thought I just don't have the time for somehow lead to mornings that are more relaxed instead of more stressed. I am still somewhere along the road getting my routines straight, but already there is such a huge difference and I know it is going to be even better. I am really tremendously grateful to you and the way you explain everything.

+Marlene Lieb Thank you so much for your wonderful testimonial, Marlene! I know that a lot of flybabies, myself included, felt exactly the same way and were looking for answers. Why do we do this to ourselves? I think it's so amazing that, by looking after ourselves *first*, we are then actually able to give so much more to others. Thank you again! And go you for making the change! 💖

Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos. I started flylady many years ago and stopped because I didn't understand it. I mostly listened to flylady on talk radio. I found you about a month ago and started it again. You are such a sweet person, a good teacher and cheerleader! I appreciate all that you do to help us. I wish I had found you years ago when I was raising 6 children. They're grown now and I have years worth of stuff to declutter. I look forward to each of your videos to help me get through it..

I enjoy you videos so much! I'm catching on little by little and it makes me feel good to see even 5 mins on a small task helps! I tend to think all or nothing but you are helping me change that way of thinking. Thank you for your cheer leading:) It makes a difference for me!

I've recently adjusted my weekly plan to ensure that my husband and I (both retired and at home a lot together!) have time apart and also time at home alone. My play day is Tuesday when I meet up with friends and my husband's is Wednesday - golf day. I do the complete Home Blessing when he is out and also act on things I have been procrastinating about. I have gained such peace of mind now knowing that I will make progress by just sticking to the plan.

I think my main take-away from this is we have to take a few minutes to plan and prioritize to make room for the good things in life. Love your encouraging videos!

Helpful video again Diane! As an introvert myself I completely agree with your comments about nurturing our friendships. Like you, people would never think I am an introvert but I am! Very important though to care for our circle of friends. X

You mention menopause a few times for memory issues. There are studies you can google about not using 3 metals for cooking or food prep: aluminum (well known), cast iron or supplements with that in it, and now copper as well. All 3 are found in autopsy brains of Alzheimers. It's very interesting reading and can help you avoid negative aging. When I went through menopause I also started playing mind games and that has kept me sharp too. I see a chess set in your video; excellent choice. Kindle has cheap fun ones, and board games are fun too. Onitama is one but many exist. I'm on the farm for the spring, so I watched all of your videos that I could. I'm going back home tomorrow to get started on my pyramid problem. My fingers are crossed for success. Thank you so kindly for sharing. You are a loving person and I'm glad I found you

Hello Flylady Diane! I just wanted to say thankyou for your videos, I am finding them very motivating. I have been a Flybaby for many, many years, and it is lovely to have a refresher. I took a tumble 8 weeks ago, and badly sprained my ankle, and am still struggling to wear my shoes. I find it really hard to stay motivated in my bare feet :( I am using your videos to keep me going, slowly, whilst I heal, literally taking babysteps. Keep up your good work, with love from a fellow introvert in the UK x

+Isabelle Clabaut I do my make up first thing (did you see my Morning Routine video?) before I go swimming. I swim breast stroke and try not to get my head wet! 😄 I don't worry too much about my makeup being perfect...applying a bit of extra powder and some lipstick is enough for me after my dip in the sea.

Questions: 1. When I sit down to watch a favorite movie, do I set the timer or can I watch the whole thing? 2. I have some bills that are not automatic; do I pay them on Tuesdays? Thanks, Nicole

Hy Diane, do you plan menu to the next Tuesday ? Thank-U.
@DianeinDenmark

+Beverley Forde Yes, I always jot down a few extra ideas (if I see an offer at the supermarket, a recipe on tv) on my menu planner sheet - makes it easy to get started next week.

Hi Diane, Thanks for the great video! Just wanted to ask, when you arrange a catch up with friends do you arrange to meet them on errand day? The plan and Play day? Or does it not matter? Is this a crazy question? Thanks x
@DianeinDenmark

+Teresa H LOL! There are no crazy questions - keep them coming! 😁 We plan to meet whenever it fits in with oth our calendars. It can be a bit tricky sometimes with so many things in the diary...last time I planned a theatre night with a friend, we could only find a date 2 months ahead (work commitments , kids, vacation, family visiting, etc)!
