Completely agree. We went "cordless" in 2019, £149 from Lidl (including batteries ..it takes 2 at 20v, so 40v in total). It's been bulletproof, still going like the first time I used it. I've had to sharpen blade and basic maintenance, but that's it! We have about 400 square metres of lawn, so I invested in another set of batteries for £50, which allows me to do the entire lawn in one go, by swapping over the batteries about 70% of the way through. We have trees, washing line poles and other bits, so saves me so much time with cordless rather than having to keep untangling myself with a corded! Compared to a petrol mower, so much quieter and lighter! We could go on to scarifiers and lawn treatments, but that's another topic (can of worms) 🙈 Thanks for the vid, hope you're having a good weekend 👍

I have a Yard Force cordless mower that came with a cordless strimmer. It was only £137 in 2019 and it's £190 now. It has an indicator to show when the box is full and I love it :-D

I have the Ryobi Cordless Garden Range 2022, Hedge trimmer, mower, strimmer, tree lopper, chain saw. Had them for a while and still going strong, yes they won't do extra large gardens or hedges on one charge but for the small to mid range size gardens they will do fine, larger garden then larger amp hour battery but worth the money. On a plus going cordless is the best thing I have done :). Electric garden tools are a pleasure to work with, without the cord and being restricted to how many extension leads you can plug in just to get where you need to be, cordless = freedom IMO. Great Content btw :) ....

Thanks, I'm showing my wife this video to convince her that I need a new mower. I hate mowing the grass and I'm convinced it's because of the damn cord!

100% agree. Someone was giving away a great 36V Ryobi lawnmower on a local Facebook group and everything you've said about cordless vs having a huge extension cable draped across the lawn (and under foot, and almost getting chewed up by the blades every time) rings true.

Been using a Black and Decker battery lawnmower for over quarter of a century now with only one change of battery and occasional sharpening of blade.

American here- so yes, our lawns are huge. Well most of us anyway. I live in a wooded area and my lawn is around .5 hectare. i have a Honda gas mower, best one I've ever owned, but Easy-Go battery electrics are now UNDER the price I paid for my Honda 6 years ago. I really want a battery electric rider (I have a really bad "fake" knee) but I'm not KZitem wealthy (yet) so I'm stuck with my Honda for a while longer. The Price of Nissan LEAFs are falling in my area, maybe I could but a cheap one (less expensive than a riding mower) and hook a mower to the back of the car. I could have A/C and tunes whilst I mow! Speaking of KZitem, is the algorithm messing with everyone's view count? A Dr. Jake Sunday video. A Donut Media Saturday video. It seems some channels are fiddling around trying to find their stride (again) which must be frustrating after building a channel to see it fall in such a fashion and have to work at building it better. I think the only people this new "mechanism" helps is tiny/wee channels like mine. I still have 77 subs, but my view count is steadily rising, especially since I produced some short film "shorts." I think the only way to screw up my channel is to get inundated with subscriptions all at once. So- please don't so that to me. I like getting up and seeing the view bars nice and full in the morning. It's my ritual. So- how wide is your mower? I have a fairly wide mower, but I don't think we get those narrow ones here in America, because you know, huge lawns...

Not that I’m paying attention to lawn mower tech, but this might be the first time ever I heard of a corded lawn mower, 🤔 I’m 54, living in america, never had a lawn to mow.

We had a cable fly mow for decades there way better than battery ones, way more power, you just need to set up properly and just have to watch what ya doing ,reason why some don't last is down to owners being lazy and not cleaning before putting them away, take care of your stuff it'll last forever

I’m going to try to leave politically charged comments on your next video and see what happens. What if some crazy USA political argument propels you into infamy? That’d be cool as long as you get money lol
