I Love that SI aren't sharing the numbers under the hood. It lets your imagination run wild with training plans and development. Great video as always mate👍

I love the training. All kind of things can be done. The assistant coach sets up a pretty decent schedule that provides you with some hints as to how a schedule should look for any given week. It is kind of painstaking to set it up for the whole season. And it should definitely be reviewed each week as injuries and tactical changes arise. The assistant will also edit the schedule when a unscheduled cup or knockout competition comes up, and if you have edited the schedule it will only change the schedule for the day of the game without messing with your own changes.

Rashidi, this is yonko from the SI forum. I have a two part question regarding coaches workload. 1) Is it more important to have low workload for coaches or higher star rating? Meaning if I have to tick more boxes for a coach to cover in order to spread the workload, but that results in lower star rating for each category ticked. In other words, is it better to have 4.5 star rating with high (above average) workload or 3 star rating with low workload, for example? Which is more beneficial to training? 2) second part of the question is that some categories, especially during preseason (fitness and tactical), receive higher workload due to focus or needs, is that indication that I'm not balancing out my training as I should or is that normal? For example, if my Possession Tactical and Attacking Tactical have higher workload compared to Possession Technical and Attacking Technical. Btw, I always try to hire a coach with at least 4 star rating for one category and assign him to his best category. Then I have myself and my assistant manager cover as many categories as it takes to lower the workload on each category for each coach. Sometimes however, with this new training module, some categories have higher workloads. Could that be indication that I'm focusing too much on them and need to adjust my training? And if I assign my 4.5 star Attacking Technical coach to also cover Attacking Tactical category to lower the workload, then my coaching quality suffers (cause now Attacking Technical star rating is down to 3 stars). I hope my questions are making sense.

they always complain about doing more quickness training, and when they do, they complain about wanting less quickness training. What I've come to understand is that as long as the overall training is 7.5ish, they can really complain all they want
@BusttheNet

Actually I don't care what the overall training is...I just don't bother....its only when they complain about the QUALITY of training that I actually take notice. This could be a sign that we need a better coach, otherwise their attribute development is hindered

Thanks for your videos. They really help to shed some light on the new features. I have a question about training. I thought that attribute changing was a long long process. In older FMs it took about 3-4 months to see any changes. With this system are the attributes increasing faster? Should I change training sessions every week depending on my opponents? How will the attributes have time to grow like this?
@BusttheNet
5 жыл бұрын
No they aren't increasing faster, in fact, if anything else, its less predictable. They still take around 3 months for noticeable gains. I would make my training fit my tactical needs initially, and midway through the season once they are familiar start including match preparation for specific opponents. Training is a way to enhance your system

Why are there no 3rd party or w/e chant mods available for FM 2019?, chnats are nobodies property or shouldn't be they have been created by the populous (fans) who have watched the respective teams, so why is it there isn't a single chants mod available for this or any other FM edition?

Yeah i think audio effects and such need to be added to the game, a real pity, but i can see how it would be an issue. Someone could create one to automate the process, but i think the amount of work is just crazy

What do you "if there is nothing in common" you won't get personality transfers? What do you look for in common? Skillset, position, style of play?
@BusttheNet
5 жыл бұрын
Don't really understand what you mean when you say "nothing in common", cos I don't make personality a main determinant for transfers, its their attributes and whether they fit into my overall tactical system. For example, I never sign ML/MR cos I don't have any tactical system that needs them. But if I find a ML/MR with good positioning, I may retrain him as a WB if he has the right attributes.

You can add a goal keeping session a week. personally I never bother with keepers i just buy them. Better to train 10 players and benefit rather than split it up to add focus to 1 player and lighten the effect on the rest.

or include goalkeeping training after matches, but look at the fixtures condition. usually i put it before recovery session. it works for me

Great video. I have a hard time with individual training. My players always complain about what I give them it doesn't seem to matter what I do they always complain about individual training. Any advice on this?
@tototof640

Maybe have your Assistant Manager do it for a while and observe how the players react. If it goes well, you might want to copy what he put in place and tweak it once in a while for some specific scenarios. I did my first season with my Assistant Manager in charge of the training and I'm now going to try myself with this method!

Do you recommend buying it? I have 2017, and bought 2018 because i thoughtiwas going to be better... not really many changes. Has the complaining from players stopped or at least ceased a little bit? It made me upset that my players would want to play first team but I already had my starting 11. Plus, they always want to leave the club if they are too unhappy or they want to play for a better team. Anyway around this issue? Great video btw, always following your vids. Thank you

All I hear is the same idiotic opinion that security through obscurity is a good idea. The fact is computer's is so simple and stupid that you just can't obscure things. The training system will be exploited and hacked shortly.
