Both parties participated in shutting down institutions. It was a bad move that started with a goody two shoe left wing anti institution movement back in the 70's. The solution was smaller group homes for the disabled. Less expensive and less oversight. Only problem is most of America, left and right, are NIMBY's. Nobody wants a group home in their neighborhood. Fast forward we have disabled living on the streets by the thousands. We have group homes with little oversight where the disabled are often neglected and abused. Families of the disabled are often left with the burden of caring for their loved ones every need. It's a societal problem.

The care of Veterans post war in the United States is appalling. My WWII Veteran father was able to go to college and build our first house. Present day Veterans get to live on the sidewalk. I would love to know who exactly over the decades voted to do away with Veterans ' rights starting in the 1950's. That information is readily available. The one thing that was not afforded to WWII vets was psychiatric treatment. When my father had a nervous breakdown and was hospitalised in 1964, the term PTSD hadn't entered the mental health lexicon. The term used to describe my father's condition at the time was battle fatigue. The mental suffering from what would eventually come to be known as PTSD is horrific, and my father suffered from it until his death at age of 92. PTSD is now known to be ubiquitous among veterans, and treatment is available. So where is the VA? Not even on the sidewalks of America. Why is that?

It's not the hearing aids themselves, it's the time between hearing loss & getting an aid. The mind doesn't handle sensory deprivation well, the longer one goes without hearing the more readily the mind can misinterpret new input in an auditory hallucination when it is returned. Imagine partial hearing loss as a leg falling asleep. The aid wakes it up & the hallucination is like the static pain input of it waking up.

This guy's lying about the plates that stop 5.56 rounds, period. There are many different plates besides steel (like ceramic and polyurethane) that will stop the 5.56 round, even the 62 grain M855 round that is considered "barrier penetrating". All they have to be is level 4 and they are available all the time. I wonder why a person with this much experience either doesn't know this or is willfully misleading people? When you are either ignorant on a subject or misleading about it why are you in front of millions shaping the way they think on a topic? Makes one wonder.....

@@missano3856 that would be an AR 10. Level 4 plates will stop even a .308 armor penetrating round. Even with the AR10 the guy is lying. The original Armalite Rifle was the .308, but it was deemed too powerful for the military at the time. Odd, however, that for the military prior to that the 30 caliber was standard.

@@missano3856 he may have used hunting gullets, what do you mean "unusually high lethality? The fact that it was a 7.62 round from an AR10 and not a 5.56 from an AR15 is really a bib difference. The tiny AR15 round compared to the AR10 makes a massive difference.
