Wise decision to just stuff it in that long soft grass, instead of trying to land on that narrow runway with that strong crosswind. Great video.

Good to see that even you guys had some difficulty with the 3 blade prop on that plane. I've struggled with my BF 109 in the same manner, using the fields to flop into because it is just so difficult to land and take off. You guys do some great presentations--as usual! thanks

If you are going to make tall grass landings a habit, I would recommend installing some clear packing tape on the leading edge of the wing and horizontal stab. You will be amazed at the amount of abuse packing tape will take and your wing will not get all marked up. Keep having fun!

I like it when the pilot uses his head & puts the gear up when there is no chance of a good landing .......Save that Gear :)

The most important thing to do after plane is completed is check that the CG is on the mark as per instructions and adjust. Remember, Remember,Remember: Nose heavy planes fly poorly...tail heavy planes fly once !

Great job. Nice steady video. Good flying to. There were moments where the plane looked real. My son and I have 1010mm fw 190s and we gave up on the gear landings too. Belly landings only.

Why do people have no idea about CofG? It's the most important thing to get right on a toy plane apart from correct control sense yet some keep putting their fingers in the fire 'till they say..hey it hurts & fix it !!!!

Old school fliers know that one third of wing chord with slightly nose heavy is always a good start if CG is not known, I trust this way even more than what manual says, most newbies think the plane will actually fly itself with no training or experience whatsoever, faf, lmao.....

MFG Martin

The ones that has 'em comes with em pre installed. Flaps doesn't have push rods installed, but they're easy to install

I use a 3000mah 4S, sometimes even a 3300mah 4S. I found the stock 2200mah 4S made it a bit tail heavy. Just my opinion

Hello, from what I saw the plane is pulled to the left because of engine torque? The engine does not come with the tilt?
@Allister12212012

Even with the tilt they still pull left .. every plane I have pulls left... You just have to know its there and compensate for it..

@Zstreetfighter18 Hey Martin!

Foam cutting does nothing to cg shift. You know how much foam weights, right? I add quarters and nickles, cuz I can't afford the dollars that it would cost me, to buy lead weights, at hobby stores. I think this guy is as much a "Farmer" as he is a "Pilot". He probably grows gmo. I would always hand launch mine, if I had what he has.
