I'd give anything to be able to play normally again. I'm getting botox injections on the 21st of December 2017, hopefully that will help significantly. Other than that, therapy. And I've been on clonazepam which is sort of helping (definitely don't want to be on it for a long time though).
My dystonia started with simply clicking a mouse - I'd have to really tense up my hand in order to have accurate clicks. Within a month it spread to typing, playing piano, writing, texting, or even holding anything. My hand tenses and my muscles curl back or forward, and then begin to hurt.
You can see my right hand struggle to even take formation to begin to play the keys, let alone play them.
Anyway this is the ending of a piece I wrote for a game score assignment for class. Played "dystonically."
