Absolutely brilliant collection. The Luftwaffe Personnel are great figures. With a different paintjob they make good figures for 76 scale German armour 👍

I made a comment on another video not realising you made this one with the comparisons showing how influential German designs were. It makes you wonder just how jet design would have developed without them. If it helps by the way it's vock fulf. I made the ta183 a long time ago and it's still on the shelf as I can't better it. Lovely kit.

It is a nice kit. Glad you have seen both videos thank you for that. My German is a bit rubbish 😂 I am a bit late in discovering all these Luftwaffe projects but it’s an interesting subject. I will be building the rest of the PM Luftwaffe kits for a future video. Thank you for your interest and comments

Really great to get your comment. Exciting times! It’s hard for us to keep up with building all the new kits now! Wartime jets will be a future project and I did buy a Italeri Waco glider after your suggestion on the paratrooper video

The british engines are radial compressor type and the German type is the axial compressor. The latter being more complicated and expensive to produce. In today's aircraft most turbofan airliners are powered by the axial type compressors and turboprop planes by radial or hybrid engine types. Great little airshow you built there!

Thank you for your comment. It does explain very well why the early jets powered by British engines looked very round

It's my understanding that the Soviets got the Ta-183 data that they used to design the MiG-15, while America used the data from the Messerschmidt P.1101 to design the F-86. In any case, your Post-War 2nd Generation Jet collection - including the SAAB J-29 Tunnan - is excellent! Now if only someone (PM, maybe?) will bring out a Pulqui II Argentinian Jet Fighter, (which was also designed postwar by Kurt Tank for Juan Perón,) then your Ta-183 "family tree" collection would really be complete! As a sidebar, two American model companies - Aurora and Lindberg - came out with their own 'interpretations' of the "MiG-19" (also called the "Yak-25" by Aurora) in 1/48th scale that looks heavily influenced by the Ta-183, in the late 1950's. Sadly, I don't think the tooling for these kits exists anymore . . . . Thanks for sharing this with us! 26th Like.

Now that would be a great subject the Pulquii. I agree exactly about the Messerschmitt P1101 influence for the Sabre. I have bought a P1101 so I shall revisit early jets. Always interesting to know about Aurora and Lindberg, I have only built dinosaurs from those brands! Really great to hear your thoughts and insight on these subjects. Thank you for your support

Lovely models .10 out of 10 for the painting . Shows what little works of art can be built out of budget price kits like PM Models . One question . The white staff car with the Generals by the ME262 . What model company made it as l'd like to get one for a diorama l'm planning ?

It’s by Hasegawa a Mercedes G4 with Hitler and his generals. I do like the simpler kits helps with the modelling mojo sometimes. Thank you for your comment

The Ta183 may be named for Kurt Tank but most of the design was Done by Hans Multhopp.
