I Hate Hate Hate this minigame! Does anyone actually enjoy it?

Me. As long as you have a decent guide to how high you need to upgrade managers, and when you need to upgrade buildings to which level, it's a no-brainer - and somehow very compelling (except for the lack of sleep).

for Escutcheon Estate there is 71% for 200/400 frags 22% for 400/400 frags 7% for 800/400 frags that's 286 fragments per 1400 gems spent on chests

Very roughly, you can gain two Escutcheons per three full sets of reward boxes bought. (Usually you want to buy only the first set of reward boxes after each town, as the costs quickly get very high after that. So, assume one full set of reward boxes per town, and two EEs per three towns completed.) It is possible to complete about 18 towns for free (buying zero rewards, with time as your main limitation), or maybe 7 towns for free (very low level managers) but also buying rewards after those towns. So, to get the most Escutcheons for free, get only level 2 Carriage and Banquet managers and level 1 Overseers for the rest, complete about 7 towns and buy a full set of rewards after each, for a probable 4-5 Escutcheons. (There may also be an Escutcheon as a reward in the 2nd Rival.) Going for FREE Escutcheons means getting very little grand prize progress though (under 100), so you will NOT get the main reward building. If you are willing to spend diamonds, then on average, you need to spend about 2000 Gems (or 1750 diamonds) per Escutcheon. It is possible to complete 22 or more towns if you spend some extra diamonds for managers in the last few towns. If you are going for 20 or more towns and ALSO spending diamonds for more gems to get Escutcheons, you could conceivably get 14 EEs (plus or minus a few because of fragments variability) by spending a bit more than 26k diamonds. If you're willing to spend that many diamonds, you might want to spend a few more to get slightly higher manager levels to also complete more towns for more grand prize and league progress, to guarantee Gold League. Please note that going without sleep for 3 weeks is very bad for your health; I do not recommend it.

Any info on the Event Quests? And the Rival Quests?
@FoEhints

what you should know about the rival questline: - be prepared to spend 700 gems for one of the rival quests - be prepared to accelerate productions for 4 hours (requeste by 1 quest) Everything else you should be able to handle with routine. In former times I listed all rush and daily quests below the video. But it besame so simple to solve all quests that I thouht nobody would read it any more.

Event quests are apparently the same as in the 2023 Fellowship event - refer to the Fandom wiki. Rival quests have been changed a bit since Beta so no-one knows the final versions yet. Importantly, the Rival quests in Beta included some tasks to recruit PREVIOUS era units. An Alcatraz or older event building (e.g. Governor's Villa) may be useful for this.

I thought the price of managers was restored to what we had the previous year. Did inno maintain or not the increased cost for managers?

I have no information about that. All changes should be found here: forum.beta.forgeofempires.com/index.php?threads/fellowship-event-2024.17208/

Cost of managers was indeed reverted to the normal amounts, the higher initial cost in Beta was incorrect. The Minigame towns are also the same as in previous years. So all guides to previous versions of the St Patrick's Day and last year's Fellowship events minigames are valid except for references to specific prizes and the new Rivals.

For more information, refer to any previous St Patrick's Day minigame guide, or guides to last year's Fellowship event. The minigame is essentially unchanged, only the rewards and Rivals have changed - and new Ally fragments added. One important tip is to NOT spend any of your Boosters until useful in the first Rival. You will need some boosters in the first Rival. Likewise, save your boosters from the first Rival to use in the second Rival. THEN use your remaining boosters in the last week of the event, as appropriate. The "engine building" aspects of the minigame are indeed very confusing at first, but as soon as you find a guide which shows which tasks to AVOID completing (you can't skip/abort them, just leave them incomplete), the minigame becomes VERY easy. MooingCatFoE has some great guides and useful spreadsheets with a summary of how high you need to upgrade each manager and each building, and when, for completing each town in optimal time at lowest reasonable cost. Ubernerd14 also has some good guides. There are several different possible approaches to the event though. In theory you can a) use level 2 managers for Carriage and Festival and Level 1 for everything else, and have enough gems to buy a full set of reward boxes after 7 towns, but will NOT complete enough tasks to get the main building; or b) try to complete about 13 towns to get the main building, and buy full sets of reward boxes after 2 towns; or c) not buy any reward boxes after any towns (only take 1 free) and try to complete as many towns as possible (18+ possible) for more grand prizes and silver (possibly Gold) league.

Lookup guides to previous St Patrick's Day or 2023 Fellowship events which have a "map" of which managers need to be upgraded how high, and when you should upgrade production buildings, and how high. MooingCat's guides are complex but best; Ubernerd's guides are also very good; FoEHints gives the best overview of the event for new players. As indicated, it is very important to NOT overspend on managers if you want to make more progress. As a general guideline, your Festival and Carriage managers should be at level 2 or 3 max (except for Rival quests), and other managers should be at level 1, 2, or 3 max. With a Festival and Carriage at level 300, and Butcher manager level 2 and level 50 building, you can complete the town in another 8 hours or so. Everything else is about reaching that point with as many tasks completed as possible along the way. Then complete the town once you have accumulated 8.4Q stuff, claim a free prize (or more if doing fewer towns), start a new town, and repeat. The more tasks completed, the more grand prize and League progress. Buying a full set of prizes after completing a town is also good value, but makes it more difficult to get the main event building to max level.

I do recommend looking up guides to previous St Patrick's Day events (same minigame) and the 2023 Fellowship event. The only differences are the reward buildings (and how far you need to progress to get them), the Rivals, and the Ally fragments. When you look at those guides, try to find a roadmap of which managers need to be upgraded how high, and which buildings should be upgraded to which level and when, in each town (there are 3 towns in a repeating sequence). Once you have that town playthrough guide, the minigame becomes very easy. I like MooingCat's version the most; Ubernerd14 also has a decent guide. You need a "map" to understand how to progress through towns most efficiently without overspending gems (it is VERY easy to run out of gems if you are not careful). After that, the main choices in this event are whether you want to try complete 13+ towns (and 31+ tasks per town) to get the main building to max level, OR ignore tasks and just try to complete 6-7 towns as cheaply as possible, using your gems to instead buy a full set of rewards after each (to get Escutcheon Estate buildings), OR try for maximum tasks/progress to try finish in Gold League (usually only if you are willing to spend diamonds).
