I love the simplicity of your videos, I am no where near perfect at sewing but I enjoy it very much even though my creations are not that great. I will keep at it in hopes that one of them will come out half way decent. I will try these soon as they look easy enough, wish me luck because my biggest issue is measurements and cutting!

You are AMAZING! I can hardly wait to make some of these. Would it be easier to lightly press the folds with an iron and a presser mat prior to assembly? I hope to see many more videos by you. Thanks!!!

Your video is amazing! You explain "how to do" so effortlessly 🙃. I have not found this to be the case with many of the DIY videos. I thank you. Question ..... why don't you put batting in the square coasters? Other videos I have watched used batting. I find the batting just adds unnecessary bulk. The 2nd coaster, the one created from triangle pieces. Are these pieces also 5" squared?

Have you (or anyone) ever tried to make these with a low loft batting? Just curious. Someone just asked me for a set of fabric coasters, and I love your ideas.
@craftgenie7106
6 жыл бұрын
Since the original coaster has so many layers of fabric by the time your done I've never felt the need for batting, but A friend of mine likes to add batting to hers. Basically, you slip in a piece of batting just after you flip it right side out. They are a little 'puffy', but still work well.
