I will try it out this evening. It always ticked me off that that rear seat back didn't go down.

Sheeshhh!! God bless you man! I was really starting to think I was going to have to pull my toolbox out to get that thing up or down.

you can get those spacers from fox box, or from net audio. Sounds like the bolts that are threaded all the way are the hard part to find.

That's how you do that! Thanks!

@trackudown1 Yes the middle has a head rest also, but I took mine off so I could see out of the rear view mirror a little better. I dont know about using a bench from a newer ram on a 02.. let me know if it works out!

It's NOT the spacers the hinge hook on the back seat has been cut about half an inch to the white plastic thing
@kevincrouch54

That's also a way to do it.. but in my case it was only the spacers. I didn't cut anything.
@joe7528

@kevincrouch54 well if you didn't cut them someone did cause those hooks are not that short there's about half to one inch missing off the ends below the white plastic pieces

Do you have the measurements for the spacers? I have a 09 crew and I want to be able to fold down the rear seat.

Do you have to have the spacers in order for the back to come down?

Im just going to make them once I figure out how thick they have to be. Would anyone be able to tell the thickness of the thinest point and then the thickest point.

I saw your other video about the water leak in the back of your truck. I have a 2002 Dodge Ram and am currently trying to find a rear seat that will bolt up to the existing holes. The reasson I am wanting to do this is the 2002 Ram doesn't have head rests in the rear and I have kids. I wasn't sure but did the middle seat also have a head rest at one point. The bolt pattern on your seat is exactly like mine so I think it would work. Any ideas?

Thats nice, where did you find the spacers

They came with a sub box I bought online from a company called Fox Acoustics.. the spacers were provided to lift the seat and give more room for the sub box. I would not recommend the 'FoxBox" though.. sub par sub box IMO. You can build the spacers yourself with some MDF or hard wood from a local hardware store though.
