Thanks so much for the video...I knew it was easy to fold up...but couldn't figure it out. Lol The slow motion was perfect. It allowed me to fold up the tent along with the video.

So I struggled with this at camp yesterday and ended up "gently" storing it in the interior of my teardop trailer so I could figure out later. Found this video this afternoon and EVEN WITH THE SLOW MOTION it took me upwards of 10 tries to finally get it closed. Then, once closed, the zipper on the holding case broke under almost NO pressure whatsoever. I duct taped it closed so it will not open on its own and placed it "gently" in my garbage can never to be seen again. I am soaked in sweat, not having fun AT ALL, and would NEVER recommend this product to anyone. I know how to put a tent up and that's a LOT easier to take down. Someone else said "thanks for saving my marriage," but unfortunately for me, I saw this video too late. I had to bury her body in the wilderness before driving back from camp yesterday. I am driving now to turn myself into the authorities and will use this product in my defense. Utterly ridiculous - and I am an engineer. WTF!!

Just bought one today to take the kids to the beach. Bought a "sun-shelter-dome'.When i got a demonstration in the shop it looked sooooo easy. On the beach I saw multiple people struggling with their dismantling, including myself. After viewing this video it was done in 10 seconds flat. Thank you so much for posting. Great product, but a pain in the arse if you don't know how to dismantle it properly.

Would like to add my own opinion of your awesomeness and THANK you, so damn much... As for 'Leapair' (the tent's maker): what gives? Let's recap (someone please correct me where/if I'm wrong here): 1. You make a solid value product (the consumer's return on his purchase price is spot on--couldn't be better). 2. Therefore, all else being equal, each and every last one of us should be 'happy campers' (literally!) the moment after our un-boxing and 'test drive' of your product. 3. With #1 and #2 correctly describing the buyer experience here, then you would have--by now--built up a momentum of popularity leading to frequent "Sold Out" notices being posted by your re-sellers. Because, again: this is REALLY well made and well priced and it fills a niche that is unusually specific but universal, at the same time! (The copy is exactly right about it being perfect for all manner of folks--not just campers.) HOWEVER... *Sadly...* There can't possibly be more than 1% of your customers able to return the tent to its carry case without seeking third party help. Can there? Unless my delivery was in some way shorted something--like a cutsheet with instructions or a manufacturer's Web address... I received *(a)* the product, with the 4 stakes; and *(b)* a tiny, 3.25" x 7" slip of glossy paper. The slip of paper provide: on FRONT side: a larger picture of tent with a smaller insert pic of fkw and the alpha-numeric characters *120x120x190cm* buried in the green grass of the larger picture like some arcane snippet of DiVinci code; and on FLIP side:six tiny boxes, each with a simple line drawing. Per those six boxes: *that* is your 'instructions'? The first is a useless image of some *vaguely similar to this one tent,* in its opened state. 2nd box: essentially the same pic but which seems to depict a "Step 1" (FAIL). Making fully half of this solitary insert I received with the tent useless, the 3rd box appears to be the carry case with, presumably, the re-inserted, folded back up tent... As for the 3 of 6 boxes that I suppose were intended to describe how someone folds the open tent back up for a return to its carry case: *Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot*???!!! OK... God bless anyone who even started to read this long-assed post--especially anyone still reading it... So, quickly wrapping up then: a simple search fails to bring up any website for the manufacturer. But, as noted herein, 'Leapair' has been blessed by a guardian angel in the form of this kind soul (PrivacyPopUpTent). Now, if the poster IS the manufacturer (I haven't clicked on the name to find out)... then, Leapair... sigh... you poor bastard... YOU, my friend, deserve some sort of world-wide prize for the walking embodiment of the stereotypical characterof an engineer who is a magnificent genius at what he knows; but who knows *absolutely nothing else.* Laslty, since I hate people who bang on about a challenge with nary a single suggested solution... Leapair: if you lot are, as I suspect, a team of 'meat-and-potato' types with an EXTREMELY BROAD definition of those 'feather merchant' types who have always baffled you: *please* find it in your hearts to hire or at least contract with a person or entity which might assist you in the various measures needed for you to get this and other great products to the market in ways that will serve to self-perpetuate sales and allow you to stay alive long enough to thrive! I truly HATE thinking about great gadgets I'll never own or know about simply because the makers had definitions of "intuitive" that can only apply to someone with an engineering degree.

Of all the videos showing how to fold these things, this one is the best. There are many folding methods, but this one is by far the easiest. Also nice that he does it 3 times, the 3rd time in slow motion. Still, the technique this guy uses is what makes this method the easiest. Note how he gets this to work. Hold both sides at the base just above the curve between the sides and the bottom. As he folds in, the top immediately moves down. If the top doesn't move down immediately upon starting the fold, your hands aren't low enough on the sides. Once the top starts moving down, then just continue to fold in both sides, and the top should curl under, making the 3rd circle, by itself. For those of us who know how to fold a bicycle tire (not a tube) in thirds in order to carry a spare on a long-distance trek, the idea is the same, but the technique to get the tri-fold started is different.

It's a pop up tent about 6 feet tall and 36" square at the base that becomes an out house when camping or keep in your car for roadside bathroom emergencies (you place a portable toilet in it), or use as a shower stall when camping, or a dressing room (when camping or at the beach).

Thanks. I have a KOA Kid's Mosquito Net Pop-up tent that uses the same folding sequence. The instruction sheet was comical -- "place your hands at 1/3 the length and push upwards folding into 3 rings, then flatten out rings"....just hilarious. Why not just say, "grab the bottom 2 corners and fold"?

Bought a Shengyuan pop up potty tent from banggood.com. for about $20. Very sturdy and good quality. BUT NO Instructions included! ( Made in China)Your video was the best among 10! Thank you! Please let confused beginners know that once you have the left under right, then cross lower left side in a figure 8 over right and pull up the last circle towards you. On my new tent the figure 8 did not automatically happen like it did on your video, but mine folds with help like yours did. I think with use and repeated folding the figure 8 gets some memory!!! Or maybe that is why this quality tent is so inexpensive! Keep making videos! Grateful is the best word for me right now!!!
