Dave...I no longer have any doubts that you actually did loose 50+ pounds after "retirement"! Nice quality pine log there.

Thanks! Still losing. Down below 160 now. Lots of orders, lots of logging, milling and scratching my ass and winding my watch. Hope you are doing great!

The problem nowadays is there's never any help... When I was a teenager in the eighties you couldn't find a job .. I worked a dollar an hour and was happy if anyone would give any work... Nowadays we are booming with work and not a young man around to do it... I palletiz stone and can't get anyone to work and pay out the nose to get any help.... Still nothing.... Pay four times the hourly wage.... Just too hard a work for these youngins nowadays.... Lifting a stone or board....

During the week my son helps me when he gets home from school when time permits. He runs our little machine shop on weekends and at night. But you're right, nobody wants to work any more. Thanks for watching.

It's a lot of long days, a few aspirin and lots of Ben gay. However, the hard work now and planning will allow for automation in the future. This mill is a starter mill.
