Thanks Hector…so many things I have learned about procreate and you help give context and marvelous ideas on how to use these features. I like how you take little bites instead of trying to teach us too many things at once…☺️. Someday you should do a video on your art journey. You are such a talented art instructor.

Hi guys, check out the brush cursor video 🎬 kzitem.info/news/bejne/wmaus2yjrWKVo6g ...this can make feathering so much easier! 😁

No, it is not “fixed”:( From 1:48 to 2:38 I did absolutely everything like you but my brush shade stays all over. In the tutorial you draw shade on 1st layer but then, out of the sudden (before clipping) at 2:34 it appears on 2nd layer :( Is something missing in the tutorial? Got lost totally.

Hi, i’m sorry I wasn’t very clear. My intentions was to show how to create a gradient of color by using a portion of an oversize brush. And since there is no way to control the opposite side of that sized brush… i needed to use either an alpha lock or clipping mask. This is how I did it: Layer 1: Contains solid white shape of a circle with an outline. Layer 2: Contains a layer that I can quickly convert to clipping mask later in the lesson to control the edges of the shape in layer one I hope this helps.

@@thedoodleworks Yes, that's was missing: creating the 2nd layer to draw the shade and then to clip it to show the idea. Maybe lost in editing video. Thank you:)
