I love using brown mascara but there just aren't enough good ones out there, at least ones that I've tested. I've got the straightest lashes ever so curling them is a must and the brown ones I've tried aren't dry enough to keep them up! A video where you test loads of different brown or 'natural' shades of mascara would be super helpful. Plus I haven't seen anyone else do that yet, especially now trends are focusing on barely there looks I think it's gonna be on a lot of people's radars

Whenever i watch a tutorial, I think "Omg if Soph curled her lashes they would look stunning!!!". Its the only thing I do every day apart from SPF and cant imagine wearing mascara without curling them. Plus it only takes like 20 extra seconds, and the results are Amazing. For a natural look, I use a grey/brown eyeshadow to fill in my brows and wet as a liner for a smudgy natural everyday look. Also my lipstick (if its satin) as blush has always worked well for me. Using like 4 products for my whole face; foundation as foundation and dabbed as concealer, lipstick on lips and cheeks, grey shadow for brows and liner and mascara. I have them in a tiny makeup bag I take everywhere and in 5 minutes can complete a natural daytime look, or even use the mascara as liner for a nightime look. If im feel adventurous, bronzer as eyeshadow and bronzer too. I love makeup and watching you review new products, but cant justify spending my cash on hundreds of products which look the same on me as my 5 minute face 😉

When I'm going for a no makeup day, I stick with brown mascara. Similar to how Kylie explained why she does it on her lower lashes is the same reason I do it on the days I can't be bothered to put anything else on my face to look put together. It doesn't stand out as much as a black mascara but it can offer some definition to the lashes without being too loud that you put anything on :)

Any time you apply any skincare or makeup to your neck, always try to go in an upward motion.....because....GRAVITY!! Going in a downward motion, over time, will help gravity's pull on your skin leading to early signs of jowls, turkey neck, crepe declate, etc. Same is true for your face. Always try to apply skincare in an upward motion. Ring finger and dab around delicate eye area, etc.

*Makeup Tips💄* -use 2 types of concealers: a light concealer under the eye & a high coverage concealer in the inner corner of the eye. the thinner the layer, the better -only apply talc powder to the eyelids (no silica-based powder because it makes eyeshadows slip on top of it) -to avoid creasing: after moisturizing under-eyes, take a very small amount of an eyeshadow primer (Urban Decay) and apply the primer by *tapping* it. Then wait for 5-10 minutes before applying concealer.

I just wanted to share something with you that should make you feel happy just as it does for me. I’ve been watching your channel religiously since March of ‘21 EVERYDAY !!! I’m a proud American who is New York born, and now resides in the great state of Florida. And for all intents and purposes our family business is The USMC & NYPD Law enforcement, of which we were incredibly grateful to have our son return home from Afghanistan when there was a time we thought he wouldn’t. W/all that said, I just wanted to thank you for having your channel, bcuz it’s been an absolute , and wonderful lifesaver for me. Your natural gift to make people laugh , especially when people like me are dealing with the most difficult of life challenges , but also issues as an American living with unprecedented unrest , and uncertainty in our beautiful nation. YOU offer me a chance to step away for approximately 10-25 minutes (sometimes several x’s a day) from the anxiety & stress , that can sometimes lean leaving one ultimately depressed. And, as we Americans go onward and upward, but only further into unrest , and uncertainty, it’s an absolute blessing for ME to know I can always go to any of your videos with the guarantee your going to make me smile, and sometimes literally laugh out loud 😁👍👏!!! Aside from the fact you have so much talent , and ability with all things makeup and lifestyle, but you deliver it in such a fabulous way. I’ve got specific influencers for specific things, but when it comes to your channel I know confidently I’m going to walk away a thousand percent happier than only minutes before😊☺️!!!!! This is just my opinion, but the “influencer community” needs to be reminded, that what they say , share , and the delivery in which they deliver it has a huge impact on the subscribers on the other side of the screen. Me personally 🤔?…. I prefer influencers not to insert random complaining ,whining , and ultimately become so long winded with their elitist conceded opinions 🙄. Nowadays, I’ve unsubscribe from them, and only check their channel if they’re demonstrating a new makeup release, BUT once I sense it’s going in the “all about me” direction …well, you know what happens next 🤣. So , there needs to be a time when people like you continue to stay genuine and true to themselves , that should be recognized and praised for all that you give people like me each time CONSISTENTLY 👌👏!!! Please, don’t ever change Soph, because you make my life , and my world , brighter and happier , and if I didn’t mention it earlier, let me just give you a million thanks, and continued gratitude. You make my days so better from across the pond 🥰❤️♥️😁!!!!

I like a good brown mascara for Spring and Summer. Just a touch more natural looking, I think.

I have personally either had no mascara on the bottom lashes or brown mascara on the bottom (especially when I was at school). On the days where it's a 'no makeup' makeup, I will use a brown mascara on the top and bottom lashes instead of black on the top because it looks so much more natural. It's every rare I actually use black mascara on my bottom lashes, even if I am wearing false lashes. Love you Soph 💗

Brown mascara user here !!! I’m a very natural makeup wearer so I’m all about subtlety especially on the eyes. Another tip that I have though is to leave at least 15 minutes between skincare and makeup and the first makeup step I do to prep my skin is to use setting spray before primer and press it into my skin with a sponge

My tip which I do for pencil eyeliner is I put the product in my waterline and tightline and bring it out to my outer corner past my waterline and tight line and it brings it to a point which is much better for people with hooded eyes and it’s not as harsh. I use brown because my eyes are blue and it makes my eyes pop. Hope this makes sense haha 💗

Also I use an old dried up mascara on my lower lashes as it’s not as dramatic but gives them a bit of colour, and it’s using something you already have

I have curled my lashes every single day for like forever and once you get use to it, it will never pull when you curl. You just have to get the position right, so no harm to my lashes! And makes a world of difference! 😊

I once had an eyelash curler pull out multiple lashes and it let a gap. so, one thing i recommend is pumping the curler rather than holding it in place.

Soph I curl my eyelashes EVERY time! They're absolutely fine! Quick squeeze and leave it at that... I do curl them halfway up the lash and on the ends too! x

I always put base makeup with my hands! It's amazing, doesn't waste products or money on tool 😅 I spray Fix+ every layer and wait 10mins before I put on my next product

Having really acne prone skin and a hard time matching my concealer I usually put my concealer on first and let it mostly dry before blending. Then I put my foundation on over it

beauty tip: Don't use foundation, and use a slightly darker concealer (than the concealer on the rest of your face) under your eyes and you nose for a more natural look.

why would you use a darker concealer under your eyes? you should always use a lighter one to give a more lifted and fresh look

@@Dellaa2222 well under your eyes it depends if you have really dark circles a lighter concealer makes them look greyish

@@aydaboullosalado2872 oh, true or maybe use a darker one and then a lighter one on top of it. i have tried color correcting with a peachy concealer but it didn‘t work. maybe a yellow one would work

I LOVE brown mascara, it's not as harsh on light eyes as black mascara so it's perfect for an every day/softer look. You should also try blue mascara, it would enhance your eyes so much

the trick with the neck isn’t to really change anything, it’s more to slow and combat aging signs and wrinkles. wrinkles is just skin that’s falling down so if u apply ur skincare downwards ur just helping gravity create wrinkles

My mum told me years ago to apply my moisturiser upwards on my neck I’m 41 now and I’m always told I look younger. I also apply foundation with my fingers all teens in the 90s did.

I mix highlighters and bronzers I don’t like with moisturiser to make a body glitter kind of thing, but it’s more subtle because of the bronzer

My random makeup tip is in natural looks I put the tiniest amount of red eyeshadow on my lower lash line and idk why but it makes my eyes look way bigger and you can’t even tell I’m wearing makeup

a beauty tip is to use the bottom of a damp beauty blender , tap it in powder highlighter and bounce it on your cheeks. it gives the effect of a liquid highlighter and looks so dewy and natural.
