I've been meaning to get up near Sterling Heights Michigan to look for "Holcombe points". They're super rare up there, but they're a fluted point, but similar to a Folsom. I really need to do that before winter gets here!

I have been keeping up with your creations on instagram, such a great bonus to see your videos on you tube as well. The perfection on that Australian jasper, oh man! You are right. It does not get better than these. It really blows my mind to see these pieces. Thank you for sharing, brother Soares!

I hope you will show videos of yourself flintknapping pieces. I've been watching Ryan Gill for a few years now. I'm trying to teach myself how to flintknap, it's not easy, lately I've been craving arrowheads out of wood, I'm quite happy with my results. Beautiful pieces you have made. 👍

The white eden style point at 4:13 is my favorite. I love that clear quartz piece too, don’t find much absolutely clear stuff up here but it’s around.

@@tonysoaresnativeclays1434 There's nothing prehistoric about a Sollberger Jig! A folsom look alike made with Space age techniques is not a Folsom, but your work is very nice. Anyone who has flutted a few Folsom knows there are subtilties to it. I'd love to see a demo of that wooden tuning fork thing you showed a few years back. That was cool. When we meet the Ancients, and they show us what they were doing I think we will be surprised at how simple it all is.

@@frankparrish5657 oh thanks! Yup it is probably a super simple method. I have fluted many without any modern materials. I’m gonna make a demo soon on one of my methods. Also maybe one of my indirect methods. It is more about the platform setup and the face that is being fluted. 😜

Beautifull, wonderfully made pieces. The mookaite reminds me of a fingernail at the tip. How long does it take you to nap a larger piece out and does it matter on the material your napping?

It takes a few hours and many break on the second flute. 😀
